Vampyr SBABS V.1 by Vladislaus Description As many of you know/use, Vlad has a fantastic SBABS script and this is it's newest form! SBABS - Squad-based active battle system Meaning: You fight on the map. You swing your mighty blades and cast your powerful spells at enemies in real time with your main character or your entire party! I don't know how to explain it easier then that. Features - Real time fast paced action with an entire party. - A HUD showing current HP, MP, and EXP - A Hotkey system allowing for quick use of items and spells - An auto EXP and auto gold calculater meaning you don't have to assign gold dropped or exp gained - You can jump! - A beastiery to keep track of your faught enemies - See below for instructions on more features Screenshots Spoiler: Intructions Setting up enemies in database: Spoiler: Setting up enemies on the map: Spoiler: Setting up database options (Weapons/Armors/Items/States): Spoiler: Controls: Spoiler: Links: Spoiler: Extra Notes: - Always credit Vlad.

Looks cool, I've seen some very unique and cool games made with Requiem SBABS. You should fix up the screen shots too, (I really want to see them so I can see new + features xP) Great stuff anyways.

Can you upload your battlesystem and other scripts somewhere else? a can't download from that site anything.

could someone please explain how to change what buttons are used for things...like say i use a sword which is currently the "a" button...how do i change it from "a" to something else eg "z" or "x"

@ laurarid: Find this in your SBABS script: CODE ATTACK CONFIGURATIONS: # Right hand attack key: Right_Attack_Button = Input::Letters["A"] # Left hand and Shield key: Left_Attack_and_Shield_Button = Input::Letters["S"] # Skills keys: Skill_Buttons = [Input::Numberkeys[1], Input::Numberkeys[2], Input::Numberkeys[3]] # Conjure Skills keys: Conjure_Buttons = [Input::Numberkeys[4], Input::Numberkeys[5], Input::Numberkeys[6]] # Items keys: Item_Buttons = [Input::Letters["D"], Input::Letters["F"], Input::Letters["R"]] The letters inside the ["D'] brackets are your change of keys. also,
How do I make it so when I enter a place, the party members AREN'T visible? I also don't want them attacking monsters invisibly. I want it so my party members don't lose their level, equips, skills. I don't want to remove the member from the party, but sometimes in some rooms I want the party members NOT visible. for example, my hero gets knocked out and he ends up in his bedroom.. but isn't kinda weird that my party member is in his room with him? Kinda disturbing if I may say so. -------------------- ![]() |

lines 33 to 43, it should be there and it should work, because I did the same thing and it worked.
Be sure it says Letters instead of Numberkeys infront of it -------------------- ![]() |

This is great, but I think you should leave the RPGs (when I say RPG I mean turn based, not role playing, because anything can be role playing) to RPG Maker, and the Action games to Action Game Maker. Because that's what they are supposed to do.

Hi i have a problem i put the script in my game enemy can attack me i receuve dammage etc... but all the key are not working... Any Idea ?

This is great, but I think you should leave the RPGs (when I say RPG I mean turn based, not role playing, because anything can be role playing) to RPG Maker, and the Action games to Action Game Maker. Because that's what they are supposed to do. I really like it. I tried AGM but I've been using RPG maker for SO long that i don't really want to start over learning the skills you need in AGM. Iunno, just my two cents. P.S. there is a really bad .exe crash error when you injure an enemy but leave him alive, then change the map.
