All configuration is done from Card System VX: Module.
A lot of it's mostly aesthetics, so not much to explain there.
Mechanics-wise, you really only get to select a card from your hand to put in play, atm, as all battling is done automatically.
I did this to make it functional, while I worked on that aspect of the system, being arguably the most complex.

Enemy decks are set up via the ENEMY_PRESET_DECKS hash; each element of the enemy's deck array refers to a card id from CARD_LIBRARY.
Unlike most card games, where there's a life total to be reduced to 0, Andinator & I decided on a different style; high risk, high reward,
where dealing damage increase a gauge, upon reaching a certain point, losing the game.

DAMAGE_GAUGE_LEVELS = 4
DAMAGE_GAUGE_POINTS_PER_LEVEL = 7

These two numbers multiplied together equal the total "damage" a player can sustain before they lose, but the higher their damage, the more powerful cards
they can use. Other than that, the idea of one active, and several benched cards comes from Pokemon.

The choice window showing "yes" is actually a generic choice window I made that can have an unlimited # of choices.
Choice selection is changed by pressing the directional buttons.
Theoretically, one could just take that part of coding out of the script, and use the generic choice window somewhere else.
I wonder if the default Show Choices event command could be easily adapted for this... XD

Let's say I download both of your balloon iconsets and have them named "final" and "final2".

To use the "final" set of balloon icons, use the following script call:

The value of that variable is which set the game loads from Graphics/System. Just remember to change it back to "Balloon" to use the default set. wink.gif

This quarter's contest will be a Cliche RPG theme. You ever watch Scary Movie, Super Hero Movie, or Naked Gun? Those movies take everything cliche about their movie genre and make fun of it in a spoof style. This contest is basically that concept but your submission doesn't have to be a comedy, it can be serious but it must follow the following criteria.
