Power Pack VX - Scripts Collection v1.0 -> 16 scripts in a single stroke

Introduction
Hello guys, I’m Rafael_Sol_Maker, a moderator of the most growing RPG Maker community in Brazil, the Condado Braveheart. (Previously called Vila Makers) This is my first time posting a script here and I brought a little collection of scripts that I made/improved for a pack called Power Pack VX. Please check the “full” documentation to obtain more details about the Power Pack project and the scripts. You can find it [here] for online reading and [here] for download. Let’s go:

Features
I’ll show here every feature available. Each item in this list represents a script. The script name you want must be intuitive, check the [documentation] if you have any doubt.

- Implements audio position (given in milliseconds) and remember the last played SE & ME;
- Adds new commands to the File class, like append_dir, copy, move, compare, remove_files, make_dirs, and install;
- Evaluates all scripts “generated by the game” providing an exception catcher with more detailed information;
- Adjusts the map to the minimum screen size, if you resized your screen with other scripts (preventing scrolling glitches);
- Enables the addition of a “perfect fog system”, similar to XP and with all effects, like changing tone and opacity.
- Provides a pack with lots of special command to use, including party commands, characters commands (hero and in-map events), batch utility commands, picture commands ('show picture' event command), and standard 'system' folder graphics changing.
- Features a special engine to search notetags in texts, using regular expressions. (The “notetag system” itself is a very useful system used to extend the game database);
- Presents a save scene similar to the RPG Maker 2003 one, capable of read and save how many files you want;
- Creates an “intro” scene that can be used like a slideshow, even before the title screen. (Very polished!);
- Permits the use of individual face graphics, individual icons and custom iconsets;
- Shows the game window opening and closing animation in a more smooth way;
- Readjusts the status scene so it will looks like the RPG Maker 2003 screen.
- Allows you to set battle backgrounds for specific areas, assign a specified damage in each given step (terrain damage simulation), specify poison damage and healing rate from items;
- Manages some APIs to adjust game the screen size (aka “high resolution”) or put it (the game screen) in fullscreen mode by pressing a single key, like RPG Maker 2Kx;
- Bring a full set of 6 customizable transitions with adjustable speed, including map transfer, battle start and finish, like RPG Maker 2Kx;
- And contains lots of other little engine adjusts.

How to Use
Exactly as almost every script in this forum. Plug and play. Some scripts may require additional graphics or configurations to work. In this case, check the scripts instructions in its header or download the demo to see how it works. (Err, at this time I’m still preparing the demo.)

Lol, here everyone wants a demo to see it working? Oh well... I'll do it soon, I thoght it wasn't necessary.

Oh, I just want to talk a lil'. The "little engine adjusts" I said are the following:

- Set the message of escape from battle
- Adjust the making of enemies' names
- Recover HP and MP when you level up (optional)
- The encounter rate will be halved if you are in a vehicle
- Airship now triggers events with priority 'Above the Hero'
- Corrected position of battlers (resolution add-on, optional)
- Sound effect in the expressions
- Modify the starting party's money with ease
- Change easily the flight altitude of the Airship

One more thing: If someone is fluent in English and like to read, I would be grateful for any grammar/syntax errors found. And I want suggestions too, to improve the texts and the scripts.

I'm also planning to bring the complete and much more powerful Power Pack VX to here. The portuguese edition can be found in this [link] (May need to register in order to download it). If someone is interested in help, please contact me.

if you put in the "small tweaks" script on line 74 there is a extra end that causes it to crash and removing it fixes it.

Oh, sorry for this. Since I translated it from portuguese and removed some battle messages, there are a line missing. Deleting line 74 will cause no errors, but it won't work too. Just put ' class Scene_Battle < Scene_Base ' at line 49 and it should work.

Well, I corrected it. Here is the revised version, in this [link]. You can check the differences between "portuguese version", it can be found in this [link]. The portuguese (unofficial translation of) RPG Maker VX had some translation errors and I fixed some in the "portuguese version" of the script.

Thanks for this finding too, man. I'm grateful.

Just some small advice for your start_event_xy method in the POWER COMMANDS script.
Using event.start crashes the game if there is nothing to start (eg: All event-pages have requirements (eg switches) that aren't met.)

Workaround for this:

Well, in this script I only collected commands and put everything in a single script.

I don't known about this, as I don't tested the script and its commands exhaustively. But since I'm improving, putting them to work, and publishing, I must fix all issues related.

If you find more problems in commands, report to me. I'll recheck everything and launch a new revision, or version. Thanks for this useful piece o'information. =D

(Man, I thought that I have playtested every script here, but if I remember correctly, I tested all once, this explains the problem, this variable probably came from VX Power Commands. )

OK, I have the correction.

Well, you don't need to use VX Power Commands anymore, unless if you want to change windowskin to other with different filename.

If no 'windowskin'(game system variable) is specified, or if you don't use the VX Power Commands to customize windowskin, it should create the arrow using the "Window" bitmap (filename for the default RTP or overwritten image file that is used to create game windows).

Let's go: This must work on most cases. Put this code...
CODE
class Game_System
    attr_accessor :windowskin
end
...in an empty space at the beginning or in the end of the script. I recommend at the line 365.

Well, sorry for the inconvenience. Tomorrow I'll reupload the script already corrected. Hope you liked it anyway.

Thanks for testing them, guys.

I'll do a demo, surely. Maybe in this weekend, or when my vacations arrive.
There's nothing on special to show that I don't made on screenshots, most of the scripts are for small adjusts or functionalities.
I may split the topic to show better the scripts too, but I think it's not a very good idea.

It's not in english but it exists. Proof check out the ruins map in that old Mario RPG "Legends of Sky World"
He used your ruins map.

Hello! Quite old topic, eh? Unfortunately I'm working only on RGSS3 right now.
