Damn I just love change! Good job, an rpg here without combat and leveling up, instead just nice casual gameplay which I am willing to spend my time in!
Looking forward to see this game make some progress! -------------------- My projects:

There I was, hoping for a demo. But nooooooo!
Just yanking your chain. Can't wait till it gets a playable version. Keep up to delightfully good work. -------------------- "Lightning is like a troll; You don't know what hit you till you smell it."

So, the plan was to drop in the Early Project Dev forum and randomly check out what's new and hot. Well, this is the first thread which I drop by and I have to say that i'm impress! Your concept of the game really break away from all the get-powerful-save-the-world scenario.
The striking feature of this project is, of course, the graphics! Nice graphics and art, we can see that you have put lot of effort on this side to bring something new to the RMing scene. Then come the concept of the game itself; build relationship with the bachelor, make your own cloth and trade them... its a nice game mechanic that you have there. I think that it will be great if you have a small storyline to spice things up. Well, you are on the right track to use the Rainbow Dress as ultimate achievement but you can use this as a drive to make up a nice small story for your game. Instead of just buying the materials at festival/market, you can make Josalina to hunt for these material in some way. (hunting as in she will have to help people to get some material, other time the bachelor might help her to get the said material... well you get the idea.) Overall, i'll say that its good to see project like that which breaks away from generic RMer games out there. Keep up the good work eh! SBS -------------------- ![]() |

There I was, hoping for a demo. But nooooooo! Just yanking your chain. Can't wait till it gets a playable version. Keep up to delightfully good work. I wish I was that far enough for a demo! Haha. I won't have anything up to play until I have at least 50% done of all the characters' sprites and mugshots. Plus I also need to event the whole 'sell clothes at your shop' thing which I'm having trouble with. Until I figure that out, there won't be a demo, unfortunately. So, the plan was to drop in the Early Project Dev forum and randomly check out what's new and hot. Well, this is the first thread which I drop by and I have to say that i'm impress! SBS Well the project is still in development, and so is its story. I do know I need something for the players to work towards. The first goal is to marry a bachelor, and after that it would be the Rainbow Dress. I'll definitely try to spice it up, otherwise people would get bored after they marry a bachelor haha. But I'd like to keep the story to a low level, as I want the game to focus a lot on the dialogue between you and the bachelor. Thanks for everyone who responded! |

I've been dying to see this thread ever since I caught a glimpse of your photoshopped screenshot a few months ago. ^ ^ I can't wait to play this. The graphics are cute and it's pretty unique from the other vx games (and I absolutely adore anything even vaguely resemblign Harvest Moon). Waiting for the demo make just make me cry. XD

I may be a dude, but....MUST PLAY THIS
This game is going to be amazing I can already tell, I'd just play it to see the artwork alone in action, but I already know I'll enjoy every aspect of it. Kinda reminds me of Harvest Moon, except you're a tailor instead of a farmer. I also came in here hoping for a demo, lol take your time, and know you got one more person who will try this out. -------------------- The words that sprout of lies to our souls; if they bear fruit the lies disappear.

XD A few months ago? XD; I think I posted that screenshot like two weeks ago. That's when I started to become serious about making this game. I wish I had a demo to play (because I want to play it too!), but so far I'm still laying out the groundwork so I can build everything from there. First comes the graphics, then eventing the whole system and then I can add dialogue and maybe publish a demo I may be a dude, but....MUST PLAY THIS This game is going to be amazing I can already tell, I'd just play it to see the artwork alone in action, but I already know I'll enjoy every aspect of it. Yay a guy who wants to play my game! I actually had a guy say to me they won't play the game, because it's for girls O_o Also, this game will be almost exactly like Harvest Moon, but instead of farming, you got tailoring, so you were right about that Right now I'm working on eventing the gifting system, and I'm having troubles with that. If anyone knows a script or knows how to event the whole gift giving thing, please drop by this thread to tell me! |

A few months ago? XD; I think I posted that screenshot like two weeks ago. You're telling that to the person who said to her mother yesterday: "On September 11th we should go down to that parade they're having down at city hall at three." ...When it was six o' clock. ^ ^;; And hey, I'm not that spazzy, it was like... slightly less than a month. lol Yes, but everyone should take their time and not rush when creating a game. It takes time so even though some heads may implode from the anxiety, it'll be worth the pain. -------------------- |

Yay! A fresh take in rpgs and I really love simulation games! Hope to see more of it soon and its demo release, I just can't wait lol Well first I need to finish this one, which will be a lot of work haha. But in case I do ever make a boy version after this one, I already implanted 4 girls in Tailor Tales that you COULD marry, that is - if I ever make a boy version haha. Oh wow it was the 11th already? I really do lose track of time when working on my game. Don't worry, I'm bad with dates/times too haha. To give you all a little teaser on what I'm working on, I'm working on making icons for the items right now, and I'm adding a calendar to the game. Here's a screenshot showing the icons: ![]() And here are the first year calendars: ![]() I haven't included the festivals on there yet, I was still in the middle of making up festivals haha. |

QUOTE (Celianna) Yay a guy who wants to play my game! Someone has said this before, but I think that your work would easily be pay-worthy. You should definately think about doing this professionally. -------------------- ![]() |

I'd play this. It looks like you've spent a whole lotta time on it and it looks really impressive (and professional). Someone has said this before, but I think that your work would easily be pay-worthy. You should definately think about doing this professionally. I was going to do this 'professionally', I tried to get into a school for multimedia (animation/games/commercials etc). But they declined because the class was too full, so I didn't go back there anymore. But if people want to pay for this so badly, I'll gladly set up a Paypal donation button XD Here's another screenshot with the finished icons of all wool, cotton, flax and silk. The clothing items are still being made.
