Request Shop: Closed

News:
If you hadn't noticed by now, my shop is henceforth closed. I will finish all current requests on my own time, but after finishing these requests this will once again become a place where I just post the sprites that I want to do. I just can't find the time anymore to do so much spriting so I'd rather concentrate the time I do find towards my duties as a Resource Staff member (and also as a contributing member to the games which I'm a part of)
I'm not going to stop taking requests completely, though.

This is what's going to happen:

People can still request here (with the same rules as before) and I will pool these requests together. Once I obtain a certain determined amount I will hold a community wide vote (poll) to see which one is most desired, and that is the one I'll do.

That way I can hold a vote when I have the time to do the request..cause believe me, I do feel really bad for making you guys wait so long for your requests

I think you might want to lable your shields though for those interested so we know which countries/groups/factions they belong to. I know the French shield, and I think the two on the left are Teutonic and Knight Templar... One is English? Not sure about the others, but one looks like Holy Roman Empire as well.

But they look great
Your sprite looks great, too. Would be great to have some sprites wearing Western armor, like gothic plate, and maybe some wearing Middle Eastern type armor.

This all reminds me of Medieval Total War Keep up the good work!

I'm going to upload more very soon.

I'm currently working on an entire set of Medieval character sets, so look forward to seeing those eventually. I'm a stickler for historical games (big fan of the total war series. Woot!). I'm planing to make character sets of many European and Islamic nationalities (the armor they wear will be as distinctive of their nation of origin as possible!). Right now, I'm working on the Italian models [Military & Ecclesiastical].

yes, his hair stretches around the back but not to the top of the head. Indicative of a extremely receded hair line hahaha. He was pretty old .

I'm also going to do another one of Urban II in a different outfit (with more color) eventually



on another note, I was going to have the pope wear the Precious Miter (like in the picture below), but aside from the fact that it was way too big (and would thus be difficult to fit into the squares and still look right) I don't think that Popes of time really wore it ...then again I'm not sure...I'll have to research that haha

I'm almost completely done with the Pontifical Swiss Guard, I'll try to upload him later on tonight. I'm also going to do an altered Swiss Guard (With Pike in hand) since this one is like a captian....and every captain needs a few underlings

These are very well done with every little detail possible. It is really nice to see new sprites like these

Lyonn, great job. That's a very well done sprite but I have yet one advice and it's a common mistake at starting.

When you make the character have bangs or hats, it'll always produce a shadow over the forehead, like this:
