ziifee's Wait Gauge Battle Scripts by ziifee Translation Team: Mr. Bubble and TakamiDaisuke Original script website: ( http://neomemo.web.fc2.com/ ) Permission to translate this script into English was granted by ziifee. ![]() Summary Compared to another particular battle system, ziifee's Wait Gauge Battle is much simpler. It adds an active time battle system similar to Final Fantasy, but keeps the simple front-view aesthetic of the default battle system. Animations and damage pop-ups appear on actors' face graphics similar to RMXP's battlers. I should also note that this battle system uses Spin Command, another script made by ziifee. Demo ( http://www.mediafire.com/?0f3kbjqzxiq ) See this post for information regarding changes from the last demo release. Installation Scripts are in the Script Editor of the demo. All image files in the Graphics/System folder of the demo are required. How to Use Please read the customization module comments in the scripts. All pertinent customization information is translated and documented. It should be fairly straight forward for normal RPG Maker users. The demo also provides explanations for some aspects of the battle system. Compatibility KGC_Overdrive Patch Spoiler: KGC_Steal Patch Spoiler: KGC_LargeParty Patch Spoiler: Notes to Scripters ziifee has left some notes to scripters regarding how some methods have changed and how some new methods are used. They can be found in their respective script comments. I apologize that a lot of those notes may not make that much sense. If you want the original Japanese text for these notes, please feel free to ask. Notes beyond user customization modules have not been translated, but have been kept in. Terms of Use Script copyright belongs to ziifee. Give credit to ziifee along with a link to his website in either your game's credits or in a readme. You can give credit to Mr. Bubble and TakamiDaisuke, the translation team, but it is not required. For commercial game use, please consult ziifee himself. Nice work Bubble (and ziifee and Takami Daisuke of course). This is a very refreshing way to make the DBS and makes me more apt to want to use it. I'll probably use this for my Dragon Quest side project. Thanks.

Nice script. is it possible to remove the spin command? Probably with some scripting knowledge. I believe it's required by default, though. This post has been edited by Mr. Bubble: Mar 20 2009, 10:14 AM -------------------- I no longer support Tankentai.

EDIT: How come when I use it, (I set my own icons) the escape is gone? SCREEN SHOT ![]() EDIT 2: I made a mistake with the attack instead of guard. So I'll update this after (Still no escape option?) Is there any way to change the mode to a "wait" type instead of "auto" like it is now? I looked around in the scripts but I didn't see anything like that. Did I miss it? Or is there just no way currently?

Save your game before using Battle Test. Any changes to the Script Editor that you make will not take effect in Battle Test until you do save. Thanks. I really needed that! HOORAY!! Thanks a lot, but all of my enemies deal like, no damage because as soon as you start your attacks/skills etc. his gauge stops working. Is there any way to make the battles 'active mode' like in FF4?? This post has been edited by Moose_Man: Mar 27 2009, 11:18 PM |

What an amazing script (Everything seems so streamlined)!
I have one question though. I'm using Syvkal's Cogwheel gauges, but I was wondering if there was a way to use those instead of the default gauges in battle? EDIT: I have another question actually. Is there anyway to extend the help window during battle (Like when you use items/skills and the description pops up) beyond 1? I'm using KGC_Help Extension if it helps.
