My Blurb before we get started: So, I'm one of those idea people who's had several promising games in development, and a whopping zero completed projects. Where's the guarantee this isn't just another something that I'll abandon down the road? There aint one. That being said, this project is more "right" than any other I've started. I've been working on it some time now and keeping it off the net so I could focus on getting the foundation right. I've done enough work on this piece that I'm confident that I won't be ditching it. Everything I have planned is feasible, all of the resources are taken care of (at least enough to get it released, I'm sure better could be found/made) and the story is solid. So, either blow it off as another idea that will never get released, or hang around and let's see if it makes it. The maps are very good and look carefully done. They are very appealing. What is that dark green moss cover in the forest? Where did you find that tile?

I like the idea of no magic. I had that in my head for one of my games but I gave up on it. So it's good to see that someone is bound to make it happen!
You have nice mapping there and good ideas. Would like to see some battle action in the ss if that ain't asking for too much! The story looks quite modern. Looks like some kind of SWAT Unit compose of criminals is hitting the Medieval ages. But I like it! Definitively worth checking! Did you sprite your characters? Also the facesets are just heavily heavily edited frankenfaces from VX's RTP bonus. And I'm going to be adding some battle shots very soon, just needed to get a few scripts working right, not that it'll be all that exciting. I am using the DBS, just spicing it up by altering the way skills work. -------------------- |

So, added a quick shot of the travel system menu. Also updated all the screenshots with the new tileset tone. The super bright greens and such were clashing with the mood of the game.
Was hoping to get some opinions on this mock-up of the intro scene. The text will fade in from left to right and down the paragraph as someone writes this bit of history. ![]() Like? No? Suggestions? -------------------- |

I like the mock-up but I think you may want to think about the heavy lining of the font you chose. Old looking cursive text is nice, but sometimes it can be VERY hard to read.

Yeah, everything looks fantastic! From the mapping to the concept to the original artwork (that you posted on a different thread). My only concern is the legibility of the scripted font. I found myself having a hard time reading it.

Really interesting project you've got here. The unordinariness of it all looks pretty neat, no, outstanding, the polish in the screenshots is impressive, as well. I particularly like the travel system and part of that crafting system that looks like an alchemy system, which would be fitting. I'm not sure about the story (I'd like to see the kingdom and countries fleshed out more), but I will say I hope the characters' pasts/backstories are interesting all the way and everything develops at a fine pace.
Also, it reads like everyone was "executed", as in, not REALLY executed - which is what I thought at first. And, I'm just assuming the squad is the titular "Order"? It's not directly stated. In any case I'm eagerly awaiting a demo -------------------- |

The big face editing is a feat in itself. I'd like to know what program you used to take the hair of one character, put it on the face of another, then on the body of a third one, changing the color, etc. And how did you proceed ?

Ooh, dug out of a shallow grave..!
This still looks just as promising. The character animations are very well done. Particularly, I like the one of Isabel polishing her gun; those animations are nice insights to personalities without having to TELL everything, not to mention the unique flavoring. Though, someone new seems to be credited for your music. In a later update, it'd be interesting to see what you are planning soundtrack-wise. -------------------- |
