no i mean another common event OUTSIDE of the summon event.
so whenever you have the summon in the party, the common event should remove him outside of battle.
so it'd look like:

@> condintional branch: [summon] is in the party
@>Change party member: remove [summon]
@>else
@>
branch end

but he still got the experience on the victory scene (I'm using Yanfly's Victory Aftermath)
I believe the default victory scene have the same occurence with me. :<
Therefore I need the summon to be removed right after the skill is done, then the victory scene is called.

My only thoughts to solve this is by giving all enemy in the troops database an Immortal State and a conditional branch for each enemy to call the Remove Summon common event and then give the enemy the Incapacitated state everytime their HP reaches 0, but THAT'S A HEFTY AMOUNT OF WORK O_O

okay one thing, you cant be too lazy with this stuff.
second... wait.. do actors gain exp after a battle if they are at level 99?
like does it show how much exp they get at the aftermath?
sorry i have no time to test this out

I haven't tried, but I don't want the summon to appear once the actor reached LV99 XD
Oh well I guess I'm gonna have to be diligent and setting all my enemies to immortal :X

your characters wont be at lvl 99, the summon should be
OR you can just change the exp table for your summon so that its practically impossible for it to level up

I'm not sure if someone has already asked this but how would I do this with a full 4 party. I'm using Sky's Party manager so I dont want the player to be able to have 5 people in battle at a time. Hopefully this can done without too much scripting =) If not then I'll just forget summoning and move on.

Can you release something like a demo? i'm having difficulties with this and i think it would be easier if i just built my game from the demo.

Sorry for the late reply. Havent been on this site in a looong time. Im not too sure how to do that since im not a scripter, but you can ask someone else if you really want to know. Sorry tongue.gif

Just copy everything i did. I probably wont be making a demo unless enough people ask for one since i dont have the original file for this system anymore, sorry. Good luck!

Hey, I'm having a problem, that I would really like anyone to answer.

I haven't even tried adding the whole common event yet, because I'm stuck on the making the actor part.
I have the sprite ready, and have re-sized it multiple times, but when I put a character graphic in, it only shows the corner of my sprite, both in and out of the actual battle test.

If anyone could show me the right way to make an actor out of a sprite, I would be greatly Appreciative.

If the sheet only has a single character's graphic add a $ sign to the beginning of it's name. (ex. If it was named "mech.png", then rename it "$mech.png") This will tell the program that it is not a full 8 character sheet.

Hehe, the funny thing is, the file that I use the graphic for, already has a $ in front of it.

Ah, yeah see the '$' sign is for a singular character set of 3x4 images, like this:

Yours is a single image, there's a simple solution, make an image 3x the width and 4x the height of that image, and copy paste said image within it so it looks like the image above, but with your thing instead of my Folder Bear.
