Finally got back to check this out after I requested it a couple months ago....
Its extremely easy to use, and very helpful for those of us who use lots of cliffs/floors in our maps, but not enough to warrant completely removing the autoshadow. Great if you only need remove a few tiles of shadow in a map, especially on larger maps. Its also nice that this script bypasses the usual problems associated with some other shadow killer scripts such as the removal of shadows under tables. I'd also like to note that the script works like a charm. -------------------- My Signature

I've been doing some further testing (via actually using it >_>), and I've found a few problems (so it doesn't work as well as I thought).
The only problems I can find is that the script will not remove the autoshadow effects from on top of any water or grass autotiles when you input the coordinates. Though it is not as important for the water shadow removal as opposed to the grass auto tile removal (the shadows for water is UNDER the surface, rather than on top of it), it wouldn't hurt to have that fixed just in case. -------------------- My Signature

In this first screenshot, I show the script where I put the coordinates (just to show that I did put them in there properly).
NOTE: the left end is cut off because the line is so long -- everything to the left doesn't pertain to this particular map either way, however. ![]() In the second screenshot, I show the map in design view to show the coordinates on the map, as well as to have a "before and after" effect. ![]() In this last screenshot, the play view is visible -- it is clear that the only shadow that was removed was at "2,13,8" (highlighted in black); leaving all of the other spots (highlighted in red) left with shadows. The shadows for the grass also appears UNDER the grass, as can be seen in the screenshot (which is why one might want to get rid of it and replace the shadows as events instead), and the shadows in the water still remain. ![]() As I've stated before, the shadows in the water isn't as necessary to remove since its a rare case where one has to place something under the water where it would have the shadow cast upon it, but it would be nice to have the option in case of such an event. Just as a note, the shadows under the water are actually part of the resource itself. Look at TileA1.
