Script 'Input' line 134: RuntimeError occurred.

Does anyone know what this means, and what should I do?

The only problem I find is setting up monsters. cause I want to use different character sets to match the mosnters.
Like the slime with a slime character instead of a shadow ghost thing, and the others
to there respective character sets.

Never mind found out how.

Hi, please excuse my poor english.

I have a problem with this awesome script.I know how make fight with the area system.But i want to add +1 to a variable when an ennemy die.So, i have added "Variable 83" in the monster commentary but the variable 083 is always at 0.

I have also tried to put in event monster in the map with the commentary

Enemy 1
Follow 8
Die 1
Variable 83

But after he die,we can always see her "ghost" walking.Same result with Die 2,put Self swith A in the 2nd page and add +1 to the variable.

Is there a way to get the events I have made to attack a monster when it approaches the event, that would be really awesome! :- D
Like Guards attack monsters that comes too close the city, or a hunter standing in the forest and some wolves comes and he starts to attack them automatically when the wolves are in the range of the hunter..

Where can we modifie the speed of the Weapon ? Because that's little bit too slow for me mob and player are attacking like 1 time each 2 second sleep.gif is it possible to make the attack faster or adding a trick like Speed = 0.00 ( second of speed ) or in Frame ...

How to use
Spoiler:

To create an enemy, put the following comments in a event on map:

Enemy ID - Change ID for a ID of a monster in Database;
Die Erase - Erase the enemy when it dies;
Die Self Switch A - Turn On the Self Switch A when enemy dies;
Die Self Switch B - Turn On the Self Switch B when enemy dies;
Die Self Switch C - Turn On the Self Switch C when enemy dies;
Die Self Switch D - Turn On the Self Switch D when enemy dies;
Die Switch X - Turn On the Switch X when enemy dies;
Die Variable X - Increase +1 to variable X;
Follow X - Change X for range of sight of the enemy, to it follow the player automatically
Kill With Weapon X - The enemy will die only if be attacked with weapon X
Kill With Skill X - The enemy will die only if be attacked with skill X
Kill With Item X - The enemy will die only if be attacked with item X
Object - Makes the enemy be an object, and impossible to kill
Puzzle - Makes the enemy be an puzzle, it can be killed but allies don't follow it, the damage and hp bar is not showed
Respawn X - Makes enemy respawn automatically after X frames
Boss - Shows the Boss HP Bar

Put on NOTES of enemies in database, the following commands (optional):
Attack Animation = X - Change X to ID of animation for attack of enemy
Die Animation = X - Change X to ID of animation that will showed when enemy dies
Die SE = X - Change X to a SE name that will played when enemy dies

To setup skills, items and weapons:
In NOTES of skill, item or weapon, put the following commands:

Ranged - That command says to script, that weapon, skill or item is ranged
Graphic = X - Change X for character name, default is nil
Index = X - Change X for character index, default is 0
Speed = X - Change X for movement speed of projectile, default is 4
Range = X - Change X for distance that percorred for the projectile, default is 5
Delay = X - Change X for delay of projectile, default is 60
Shot SE = X - Change X for SE name that is playerd when attack, default is nil
Path = X - Change X for: Line, Circle, Boom, Random or Jump

Commands valids only for skills and items:
Explosive - That command, says to script, that is a skill or item explosive
Area = X - Change X for area (in tiles) that explosion affects the enemies, default is 3)

Commands valids only for weapons:
Combo Hits = X - Change X for number of hits needed to gets a combo damage, default is 5
Combo Rate = X - Change X for % of chance to get a combo damage, default is 75%
Ammo1 = X - Change X for ID of item that is ammunition 1, default is nil
Ammo2 = X - Change X for ID of item that is ammunition 2, default is nil

Command valid only for items:
Bomb - This command says to script, that item is a bomb

Commands valids only for armors:
Defense Rate = X - Change X for defense rate (in %) that shield block attacks for enemies, default is 75%

Commands valids only for states:
Animation = X - Change X for a animation id of state, default is 0
Walk Slower - That command says to script, that state makes player or enemy walk slower
Walk Faster - That command says to script, that state makes player or enemy walk faster
Don't Walk - That command says to script, that state makes player or enemy don't walk
Confusion - That command says to script, that state makes player walk randomly

just paste the script into you Script menu In the tools options bar,
make sure you paste it in the section under where it says < Materials > also, make sure you follow the directions for the script like if it tells you to put it into a specific order,
For example, in this paticulur script you should have

---Requiem Masterpiece (1)
---Input (2)
________________

---Requiem Extended Movements (3)
---Requiem ABS Version 8 (4)

________________

---Requiem HUD (5)
---Requiem HP Bars (6)
---Requiem Group Command (7)


in this sortof order for best compatiblity. You can also find this script in the demo he posted on his site, just download the demo and copy and paste the script,

If your still having troubles, Its best to make your game out of the demo to ensure everthing works 100% ok

Btw, when I play test my game, suddenly all of a sudden I get this wierd error called

NameError

I normally wouldnt post for help but after going back over my steps and editing my last updates, I cant seem to fix this problem mellow.gif If anyone with more scripting knowledge than me (I have none) can help me in solving this error, I would really appreciate it cus I tried everthing but cant seem to get rid of this error, nor does it tell me what exactly waht part of the script/game/database the problem is coming from

NameError occured while running script,
Uninitialized constant Requiem_ABS::A


is what it really says.
I would laugh my ass off if it is something simple tho tongue.gif

Im trying to continue a game and Im currently using
MiniMap - KGC_MiniMap script and also Vehicle MakeOver from SojaBird

The only problem is the fact that I have been using these scripts with ABS 8 for a while now and never had an issue, except all of a sudden now there is NameError I cant solve mellow.gif !

blink.gif and verison 9 is out already, where? lol
