All three of these contests are good and helps new people with the program. The main important thing in creating new contests is coming up with a good theme, because a really interesting concept will obviously draw a lot more people.

I am sorry but no Winter Contest will take place, we're organizing the VXNet awards. Oh man -------------------- Five things I would tell other RMers:
-Frankenspriting is really easy, anyone can have a go for great results. -What matters is not the script but how you use it -NEVER underestimate the power of events. -When using RTP remember Vibrato and recolours. -Use the wondereous substance know as paper (plan, note and sketch your work) My most epic IRC moment ever: Spoiler: I support: Spoiler: ![]() And lastly I made a blog, check it out here: Ryou's Work Reports |

In my opinion, all of these contests would be great!
I would partake in the Resource and Character competitions for sure, and I would try my best for the cut-scene. ^^ ~<(^^,)>~

It's unfortunate that the first cutscene contest didn't take off, because that's the sort of thing that would be the most inspiring to the community, and would really challenge participants. Maybe it's too much to devote to, however.
I myself would love a new resource contest, having never showcased my sprites before. -------------------- "Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate." - Sun Tzu
