Before anything else is said.
This is in no way a full blown hack or anything of the sorts, this is a stand alone .dll file that requires you to already have the RPG Maker VX Trial installed on your computer. All this will do is replace the Japanese text with English text. Files Included In The Zip: RPGVXJPN.dll README.txt Release Notes: This is a FAN TRANSLATION and in no way an OFFICIAL TRANSLATION with that some things may be translated wrong, if you find untranslated text or something thats been translated wrong please let me know. For the latest version please visit http://www.rpgcrisis.net. This file (RPGVXJPN.dll) will only work for the Japanese version of the RPG Maker VX Trial and will NOT work for the full version of RPG Maker VX once released. Do your part by buying RPG Maker VX either on the 27th of December or when the English version is released. Install Instructions: 1. Extract the "RPGMakerVXTrial(ENG).zip". 2. Go to the directory where you extracted "RPGMakerVXTrial(ENG).zip". 3. Make sure RPG Maker VX is closed and not running. 4. Copy the following file "RPGVXJPN.dll" into "C:\Program Files\Enterbrain\RPGVX-Trial" or the directory where you installed the trial. You will be asked to overwrite the existing file, click "Yes". 5. Congrats your done. If a similar method works on the RPG Maker VX Full Japanese version, we might be able to use it as a stopgap measure to help prevent a full English hack.
However, since it's becoming more and more likely that RPG Maker VX English once released won't cost as much as we were originally led to believe, we should (if it works) emphasize that it'd be better for a person to wait for the official English version (which would cost less) than buy the Japanese version and use an English Mod. -------------------- Please read over the Board Guidelines. Well, at shophymeia.. or however you spell it.. both XP and VX cost the same(85$), and the english version of XP from enterbrain costs 60$ to get a licsance(sorry, i think i spelled that wrong) so i have a feeling the VX will get the same treatment.

OMG totally killer I am so happy about this now I finally fully evaluated this I am so dropping what EB asks for it. Many kudos to whomever did this. This just made my day!!! Wow a chat area this makes me wanna stay with this community. This may be my new favorite rpg maker. It is a tie between 2003 and this!

Sorry to all the people who are having registration problems, have you checked your SPAM/Junk Mail section in your e-mail? On some free e-mail services the e-mail if marked as SPAM or Junk Mail automatically gets deleted, check your trash as well.
