Yeah i can add the scripts and all but how do i make a custom board or for certain characters? i hate reading through scripts they aren't accurate on directions.

Sorry to necro post but I am confused as to how this works.

So I unlock skills, items, weapons and what not but I have to buy them? What if I want the player to learn the skill or be able to use it if they draw the skill?

Can you combine all the boards into one, so stats, weapon, armor, items, skills....what ever? or are you limited to only 10x6?

How do you add more boards per player? If i create a third board and set the max boards per player as 3 i get a crashing error....if i reduce it back to two I get no error - even if that actor has access to the third board

also, creating and adding a third board give me an error at line 43 which is the opening of a for loop:

CODE
  def fill_unlocks(unlock_list)
    for element in unlock_list
      next if element == 0 or element == nil
      @unlocks.push(element)
    end  
  end


Its a no method error, undefined method for 'each' for 3:Fixnum.

Basically after creating the third board I changed max board to three instead of 2

I have an issue with icons not showing - the armor icons show for the first piece of armor and then after that no icons show...For weapons no icons are showing and all my images and what not are in system just like they are suppose to be....

Why is it that I am only getting icons and no text on the board even in the demo with the latest RPG Maker VX and the board just buzzes when I try to select something instead of telling me there is not enough license points?

just a question i can not change any of the Description's in the board they are in spanish. I have checked the script over and made sure the ones with the same name match to what i renamed them but still they are in spanish can any one help??

well first you'd have to identify which scenes they have functions that over lap and which functions are not aliased... then you can do the patch yourself smile.gif

I don't really know anything about scripting, but I have been looking at the scripts and I saw that the custom menu has its own menu
setup. So, I tried to adjust the two to work together, but it just doesn't work (or, I should rather say that I don't know if it does or
not as I can never get the game up. It shows me an error every time I try to play test it.) I've been fiddling with it for a while trying
different stuff, but it's always the same.

In an earlier post in this topic, I heard Exodus say he was using the same menu system and someone said they'd PM him how to
make it work, so I know it can work, I just have to figure out how. Hmm...Let me try something real quick. Brb.

Yay! I got it to work!
Well, since I don't think Dark Mandy or PHLiM2 are active any more, I went through the topic and read each post.
On page 13, I found PHLiM2 made this post:
