Look for these lines in the script(I know this has been asked in this thread before)

MAX_SIZE = 8
CATERPILLAR = 2

MAX_SIZE should be obvious.
CATERPILLAR is the switch it uses to turn on and off. 2 is the default. Change that number to a switch you are not using.

Did you read any of the previous posts? You turned off the switch this script uses. That would be the only way they would not follow. Read my last post in particular.

I have read this discussion thoroughly and haven't found a solution to my problem. Basically, I start the game with one character and he soon gains a follower, however he will not appear behind him. I have tried adding him twice in the event, and have made the caterpillar switch "20" so it doesnt get used. Any help on the matter will be greatly appreciated, and sorry for such a simple question smile.gif

EDIT: No worries it is now randomly working! smile.gif

I have a quick question regarding this script... is there any way to add somebody to the line without adding them to the party in combat? My game has a "party member" that is a non combatant that I don't wish to participate in the combat, but which I would like to be visible "in the party" through another means, and this caterpillar script seems to be the best way to do it.

There are no commands. And rudeness gets you nowhere. Do yourself a favor and actually read through the thread before complaining. This is a plug and play script and only uses one switch to turn it on and off. That info is easily found in this thread.

Hi there. I'm not new with RPGVX or anything, but this Script is giving me a problem:
I want the game to give you another member during the game. The event where you find the member adds them in.
However, t doesn't work when adding in a party member during the game- it only works when you start with the game with the partner. Is there a way to fix this?

Has anyone tried leaving a boat or other vehicle while using this script? It looks REALLY weird. And the characters following the party leader don't blend into the forest tiles. Any idea how to fix?

Thank you. i've been using worotana's and it's incompatible with other script such as the "AS:Anti-Lag" and the Neo Save system.. and this script works fine with this two.. thanks a lot.. credit for the maker of this script!
