I'm gonna go with Pixar cause I liked

In general I do tend to prefer animation to live action, and traditional animation to 3D... and Japanese to American... I'll stop there.
I too loved Disney musicals. Yes, musicals. I had hope for Princess and the Frog too, but the music fell flat and so did the characters. There hasn't been a movie that has wowed me for it's original musical score for a while... Toy Story 2 was the last one with songs like "When Somebody Loved Me" I love a good character/story song that is actually sung from a character's heart. Princess and the Frog was way too shallow for most of it. As it stands, Treasure Planet was the last Disney animated film I have particularly fond memories of, and Tarzan the last one I loved. I however and holding my breath for Dreamworks because they have the licensing for a book I like. Alcatraz vs the Evil Librarians. I have no confirmation on it besides the words of the author though  Alcatraz is like a cynical Harry Potter, where the magic world isn't a heartwarming dreamworld, and everyone a part of it is considered to be psycho by the main character... oh and the main character is really quite evil and sadistic because he's also the story narrator and he admits this. XD There are so many scenes in it that just played out so vibrantly (I actually read it after I knew its film rights were licensed, I'm a fan of the author Brandon Sanderson) and well I'm looking forward to the title. Admitably, I don't have a wow factor on any of the Dreamworks films, I have fond memories of the Road to El Dorado and Spirit musical scores and most of the other films are actually only passing interests at best, though I do want to see How to train your Dragon... I haven't gotten the chance to yet...But I can't say that Pixar is gold either. Though of the three companies it has the most films I have truly enjoyed over the last few years. --------------------  Spoiler: |

I really haven't watched a pure Disney blockbuster. They've always been Disney/Pixar, right?
Anyway, I'll agree with what some people are saying about Up. The story is random. The beginning, and the ending made me cry though. -------------------- "The power you just brought forth is called 'Persona'."

Personally, I like 2-D hand-drawn stuff better than 3-D graphics. 3-D graphics just feel kinda... cold and I don't appreciate them as much.
I voted for Disney 'cuz I really liked most of the animations they made when I was a kid... although I also really like Pixar's and Dreamwork's pieces.
