In the tutorial section, my mini-school topic with lots of puzzles in it was denied, so I will break it up into small little event tutorials! ![]() This tutorial tells you how to make a rock pushing puzzle. Remember to name your events! Firstly, we must make the boulder(s) : They should be like this ![]() Now you don't need them to be able to be pulled if you don't want them too Make sure you name this event. Now to make the boulder area: ![]() As you can read, it tells us where this event is by putting it's location into variables. Make sure it is autorun! Then activate a self switch into this! ![]() This will let the boulder pass on top of it! Our most important! The COMMON EVENT!!!: ![]() This will check if the boulder(s) are on the hole(s). Make sure it is set to parrallel and make sure you switch on the switch to activate the puzze Finally the event that checks it's gone right @_@ ![]() This just checks if both switches are on, and then finishes it of by switching of switches @u@ Thank you Cel for telling me about my duplicates Photobucket </3 NEW Demo : Download This post has been edited by Yami: Jun 6 2010, 12:30 PM -------------------- |

OMG. I was looking for a tutorial like this awhile back, but my problem was that I was wanting to have switches that were pressed when you stood on them, but popped back up when you stepped off them, and you had to push items onto them to keep them pressed (think Zelda puzzles..)
I've still never quite gotten that exact puzzle sorted out, but I can, at the very least, get the boulder part right. XD |

Great Tute! It was really easy to follow and I got it working on my first go. Just wondering how to go about setting up a reset switch so if you get stuck you can return the boulders to its original position.
