What FF is this?
I had a similar fan game named 'Final Fantasy Legends: Worlds Collide' and it was a remake of Final Fantasy Legends III.
If you are remaking FFL3, then I might be interested in this.

And the font really needs changing. Just select it all and set the font to Arial or something like that to 'override' the 'bug/glitch' because I see you are using the Arial Black font or something similar.

This is completely custom story, I have never played FFL3 sorry. The story was designed, wrote, and based off my own ideas, and I didn't know FFL: Worlds Collide" was even a game, Everything was created by me lol.

Oh, I see. So you just named it Final Fantasy for the sake of making this game Final Fantasy. Well, good luck to you.
Just a tip: Since this is an original game, drop the 'Final Fantasy' in the title. I tell you, it will be much much better.

Also, Final Fantasy Legends: Worlds Collide was a fan game I made in RPG Maker 2003. tongue.gif I decided to port it to VX but my PC got infested by a virus and I lost them both. sad.gif

Now on the poll:

Poll A - I personally don't like New Game+ because I don't see the point of playing the game again using the same story. I liked the New Game+ thing on FF2 - Dawn of Souls because you don't replay the whole game but you play as the dead characters instead, which was really great. So I'll just choose Free Roam. Yay for free loots!

Poll B - In Final Fantasy IX, Quina uses forks. However, why don't try something new, like a 'Swordstaff' which is like a staff and a sword combined or you can use gloves. smile.gif

I'm sorry, but the title isn't going to be changing. The game itself is pretty much a Final Fantasy Fan-Fic. When Worlds Collide is my original title, but I couldn't create a title that works with it all, and without it sounding 100x worst than it was. It is based off Final Fantasy so it should be titled as such.

AS for the polls, I am personally leaning forward to Free Roam because Final Fantasy has never really been good with New Game +. I think Free Roam in XII and XIII were nailed perfectly and I am hoping that it does it the same in WWC. As for Sword Staves, that's not a bad idea, I'll work my way through it, thank you very much.

MAJOR update:

Weapon/Armor Database have been completed

50 shop based weapons for EACH class
15 shop based chest for each tier

Now, let me take this time to explain tiers. In games, you'll notice that each armor will have a tier, ie. wow cloth, leather, mail, plate. Now WWC will have an alternate but similar system.

Tier I - Cloth
Used by Priest, Warlock, & Evoker.

Tier II - East
Used by Monk, Ninja, & Samurai.

Tier III - Leather
Used by Thief, Blue Mage, & Ranger

Tier IV - Plate
Used by Warrior, Paladin, Dark Knight, & Dragoon

Tier V - Legendary
Used by Hero


17 shop based helms per tier
10 shop based cloaks per tier
15 shop based accessories per tier
50 shop based GENERIC accessories

3 sets of CSE (Character(Class) Specific Equipment) per slot, they will be part of a set that will be obtained through a quest chain.
weapon
Helm
Chest
Cloak
Gloves
Boots
Ring


20 CSE - Weapons obtained through Roaming Giants, similar to Bounty Boards from FFXII and Notorious Monsters from FFXI.
300 CSE (Helmets, Armor, Gloves, Boots, Cloaks, Rings, Necklaces, Earrings) obtained through Roaming Giants.


Blue Mage is now currently using Spellswords with an offhand of their Monster Book. More info on the book will be released ingame when you get it.

1st. Weapons are constantly changing. Some make your attacks slower ie decrease the atb speed, others are completely useless as compared to another one, but have added effects that some people might like better than others. Some increase stats, others just increase damage, some increase both, which is why it took me a week of doing nothing but DB work to finish it lol.

2nd. Tier II is based on eastern attire, Kyudogis, Kenpogis, Gis, Donmarus, Samues, you get the idea lol tongue.gif

3rd, thank you for taking interest, I'm glad to know at least not all of my hard work is taken lightly ^^

roflmao well if it keeps you interested, then yes!!! If not, well now I know NOT to post a SS of the overworld, hahah then you'll have to play the game!

So far it hasn't been a problem to map, but I only have about 300x500 of the overworld mapped out.

Major update......


After about, oh I dunno, 40 hours of complete BOREDOM!!! I finally finished everyone's abilities. I'm proud to announce that each ability has been adjusted and tested and are working at optimal capacity. The only character without skills is Razz and that's due to the fact that I have no monsters in the DB yet with monster skills.

After the database is complete, mapping will resume.

very interesting game you have going on. while the name Final Fantasy generally has mixes expectations (given recent Final Fantasies before 13 and after 10), this seems like something you've put your heart and soul into developing.

make sure to have Cid, Chocobos, Moogles, and other staple Final Fantasy monsters in it. most of them have all, and each FF after 3 (I think it was 3 that introduced Cid), has had a Cid.

How to Fix Actor Related Variables the Lazy Way

In the Game_Interpreter script, there's a line that is messed up.

To fix this, change Line: 750 from above to the one below
