Salazar The Sword The Ogre
& The End of Kurk Humple-Brick

Foreword. This game is a game based on BenKo's guide to making a game with RPG Maker VX. As such, naturally, the story is not totally original
as it's based on BenKo's guide

None the less. I believe I have made a decent game =] It's my first and any critisism is appreciated. So long as it's not too harsh

Story Synopsis:

Salazar and his friend Zach have arrived on the tiny island of Kratus, and are seeking adventure and fortune. The story starts out in the
small town of Evergreen. The town is almost deserted, apart from the ship's (who brought Salazar and Zach) crew and captain, an inn keeper, a shop owner
and his daughter, the hero's themselves, and a wierd green haired lady... The lady is Lime, a sorceress and she gifts the two ragtag hero's with a quest to
destroy an ogre. First though, they must venture into a forbidden forest and retrieve a powerful magical sword...

Characters:

Spoiler:

Salazar.

Salazar is an impressionable young man with green hair and an old scar. He is normally very chilled out, and it takes a very special kind of
magic to make him angry. He persuades his long time pal Zach to come with him to the small and young island of Kratus and find adventure and riches.

Zach.

Zach is an introvert kind of character with purple hair. He is younger than Salazar by a couple of months but seems older, mainly as Salazar is so
immature. He doesn't follow his heart as much as his head and wasnt impressed with his friends idea to seek out adventure and riches on such a small
island as Kratus but joined him anyway. After all, they're a team right?

Lime.

Lime is a mysterious green haired sorceress who lives on the island of Kratus. She gives Salazar and Zach a quest to retrieve a sword and slay an ogre,
but is that her real motivation?

Kurk Humple-Brick.

Kurk is even more mysterious than Lime. Who is he and what does he want, he'll only speak to the group if you manage to impress him enough...

Your mapping is good! especially the mountains and forest? the waterfal? since i only can map houseinterior.

thanks =] i was happy with the way the forest turned out, and the mountains I just tried to overlap things alot to look more natural? or something =p lol

Completed it in an hour and a half, Then went back on to see the alternative ending when you go onto the ship.
Good little game.

If you exit the Ogre's dungeon you're not allowed to get back, kinda stopped me from playing the rest of it. (I'm one to over level)

Confirmed. Exiting the Ogre's Tower disables you from entering it again. And I had just gotten the curved daggers for Zach, too. If I could make a suggestion, make the primary equipment of the characters sellable. I NEED THE CASH FOR FULL ARMOR!!!

I kinda like this game..
it's short,fast and balanced...I hope you make more..

I repeated it for 2-3 times..I was hoping for an alternate ending
and I didn't know how to cross the ocean going to the Icy dungeon Island..

And - you surely didn't intended it but I'm in the mood to make another game myself!
