Very interesting game with great aspects but...
I have to say that the gameplay doesn't give to the player the chance to train.
To win the player must have the opportunity to level up with other battles (in the map for example)
and to gain more money before going to the first quest. After that if you buy even 20 smoothing balms
you will end up with 0 after 5-6 battles so it's very challenging for the first quest.
Also a suggestion is to make a healer class with party-healing or raise skill.

Besides that... It's a great game and it has an aspect of 20-30 hours of gameplay with a good story (you
have that already).

i know this is a very old post, but tjis game is something...
jus...after around 30 time i played it, it still hurt and i cannot go past the goblin first boss. man this is sooo difficult, try to make it simplier! just one time i got past him and then i find myself with just horace and janos and get powned all the time... this isnt fair. is a very good game but umbalanced from the very start... hoc come that a simple goblin can kill horace with just one blow? sorry dude...i will be very pleased if you keep trying on this project, but it simply is too hard to play to begin it, without some more balam or demoon blood. really...too hard!
