Attention: If you're a curious fellow reading my older posts, I will be remaking this thread in a few days with new content and what not. I've been working on this recently.
![]() ![]() Spoiler: ![]() Spoiler: ![]() Spoiler: ![]() Spoiler: ![]() Spoiler: ![]() Spoiler: .: Closing Comments I'm currently working on this alone and I wouldn't mind changing that. The thing that would help out the most would be someone skilled in creating effective skills, weapons, and armor. As I'm pretty bad at balancing those sort of things out. If you are interested in helping me out just send me a PM over the forum. Right now I'm really just looking for feedback and to see if people have interest in this. Feel free to ask me questions about the story or game-play, as I don't think I covered everything in this post. This post has been edited by caketan: Nov 3 2010, 03:09 AM |

The general idea of this whole thing sounds extremely intriguing. I love the whole "download good memories, and erase the bad." Once you find a good place to pause and release a demo, I'll be the first to try it. (Hopefully)

Interesting concept, I also like the idea of alternate endings. Just wondering what the missions involve because to me this sounds like its going to be a grinding game. Great Logo by the way.

The general idea of this whole thing sounds extremely intriguing. I love the whole "download good memories, and erase the bad." Once you find a good place to pause and release a demo, I'll be the first to try it. (Hopefully) Yeah that whole concept is the general focus of the game and what it revolves around as it's a major part of society. Interesting concept, I also like the idea of alternate endings. Just wondering what the missions involve because to me this sounds like its going to be a grinding game. Great Logo by the way. Missions are really diverse depending on who you choose to accept from. Yeah I'll admit that it's generally you are going to be fighting a lot of people, but I can promise you the environments and battles you fight are interesting. For example, with gun-wielding enemies theres the choice to simply break the gun, and stop them from using it too deal mass damage, or taking them out and getting the gun as an item drop. How ever, there are some missions where you just go around and talk to people and make moral choices, and then there are the others where you try to set up a proper ambush, or prepare to defend a key location. Oh and thanks for the title compliment. Heres the actual title-screen logo thingy incase you care ![]() Oh I also want to point out that in each city theres a pretty good number of wondering citizens who you can talk too who each have there own little story with small branching dialogue options. The atmosphere is something I try to focus heavily on this game. That's why I added things like the ability to put up posters to show support for a faction, interactive brothels, drug-dealers, poets who will sell you poetry books, theres a lot of more content then going off and killing a bunch of people for what ever group you support if you search for it. ha ha I do care about the title screen its simple yet it portrays the main theme. You have a lot interesting ideas involving battles and ideas that will break up linearity in the game. The originality of the game really appeals to me as well as it being story driven and searching is one of my favorite things I thoroughly explore maps and click everywhere I can't help it. It sounds like making this game will be complicated but I can't wait till you finish it. Good Luck!

I quite like the idea of this game. The different groups and endings seem very interesting.

Very interesting concept. I hope this doesn't become a "dead" project.

Haha, I thought people had no interest in this thing. I got 2 replies and then it just fell a few pages so I stopped looking at it.
It's definitely not a "dead' project. I'm still working on it but do to Work and College my time schedule is kind of tied up. I can still answer any questions you have about how the game will pan out or what it's like, and I will try and get more screen shots up. This post has been edited by caketan: Aug 14 2010, 09:27 PM |

Taking away bad memories and adding good ones. That sorta sounds like what a sinister villian who wants to make the world perfect would do. But it's interesting.
