I decorated the house, its pure awesomeness, but if I go out and then in again the decorations are not there.
What am I doing wrong?

mayby it is a problem with my event cloning system, it was never made for saving events on the map, I don't know if sky have fixed it, if not, I can do it (=

Really, wow I tested saving the game which worked I'll fix it in a few hours I have things to do right now. Its only a few lines of code though.

This is really fun to play around with! I must say I find the controls awkward (I forgot how to exit and kept pressing buttons until I realized you just press A). A little window at the very top to explain which key you must press to do this will be really helpful.

It would be awesome if you could expand this decoration system and turn it into an entire 'build your own world' system.

@Celianna, Maybe you are right. However if you look at the script you can change the buttons you just cannot set one button and that is to look at the decoration menu. But when I figure out the 2 and 4 tiled events I will implement the idea.

this looks cool, is it like the pokemon base deceration system in ruby/safiare/emerald/pearl/diamond/platnium

@Sky: Hey sky... Maybe you can fix the 2 tile by making a new script... So like... The script makes binding event configured in hashtags... so like...
CODE
bind[0] = [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8]
1-8 = event ID in event-map

Those 1-8 refers to eight tiles surrounding a specific event tile. So like...

| 1 | 2 | 3 |
| 4 | 0 | 5 |
| 6 | 7 | 8 |
^^^^^^^^
(What will be shown when we are decorating)

Zero ( 0 ) the event that we want to bind with others... So, when you call an event, then another event which are binded will come out / copied too along with our specified event
I don't know whether someone can make this type of script, but hope it can give you a "path"... rolleyes.gif

Well that could work but that would take a little bit of work to setup up for me in the script. I already have the 2 tiles setup working already I just have a few things to fix up, first. I will also setup 4 tiles before releasing this.

I have a question. Will it be possible in the future to make it so that items can be placed on top of each other? Like a flower pot on top of a table? Also how do you recommend placing a bookshelf or a large object such as that? Also, I think it would be cool if you could make it so that an item is a section of an auto-tile table that you can buy and connect to each other.

The last thing you stated can be done already but you have to do that well sort of restricting tiles that can be placed side by side, is too much, for something so little. If I did that, it wouldn't be released for quite some time. As for placing them on top of each other, I have to get some other things done first but I am planning on that. The bookshelf thing is a work in progress thats maybe like 4 tiles if more it will take a little longer because I have other things to do. So 4 tiles is the max that I am fixing right now.

Did you update the script and try to load an old save game? I don't know why it would do that to you. I tested it and could save and load just fine.
