There. Now 2 votes for 5 stars.
Also, I'm supporting this. Pure win in my opinion, Cray. Great job. -------------------- This is a signature. :3
Oh, and yeah, I'm back! Why? 'Cause I can, I guess... |

Hey,
I'm sorry if i out myself as a newbie with this, but I have trouble using the script you wrote about. I downloaded the image, but I think I might have put it in the wrong folder. The game won't use it and shows me an error message whenever I try to playtest. I triple checked the script already, and I looked for a tutorial on this, but I didn't find one (wrong search terms?) so I thought I'd just ask here. Specifically, where do I need to put the Image so it will work? Or is there anything else I might have done wrong? I hope it's the right place to ask about this (*.*) -------------------- |

Did you put it in the Graphics/Pictures folder? Yes. I used the import function and put it right there. -------------------- |

Yeah I'm having trouble with the blotches in step one. How in the world do I set em up like you do. I can't make that fancy border around the blotches/trees.

This tutorial is perfect for creating that eerie mood like something big is going to happen I love the effect but when I use the fog script I get an error message and the game crashes NoMethodError occured while running script undefined method 'name=' for nil:NilClass |

I know this is an old thread - but I had to register just to say thank you for this awesome tutorial.
I was about to give up on my RPG Maker VX career due to crappy maps.. never thought to use events for scenery. Kudos and thanks again! Lukas |
