My Computer Specs: AMD Athlon II X4 620 Processor 2.60Ghz, 2GB RAM, 2GB Video Card(NVIDIA GeForce GT 220), 64-Bit Windows 7 Operating System ![]() ![]() ![]() Game Awards: ![]() ![]() Note: All Information was written by me, It will be changed as me and the Writing Department Discuss things up The Terms, Namings and Every Detail might change from time to time as we developed the game further ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Intro: Valkyries are said to be the one who decides who will die in battle. But I don't believe in such stories... I choose my own Destiny, and Revenge is My Destiny... Summary: Vance and Veinhart were kidnapped, held as experiments, and forced to work for Escalione. However, They've been heavily trained, thought to use their skills to make an escape. After splitting up, Veinhart promised to meet Vance in Avalande Town and Vance ran as fast as he could, while the genes inside of his body started to react with the Escallion that he received from the experiments. He fainted and woke up in a Forest Village which is owned by Cerina Ausburn, a huntress living in that village. She found Vance unconscious in the middle of the forest and took care of him for days. Once Vance finally woke up, he must go to Avalande Town to search for his brother, as they had promised to meet there after the escape. Cerina convoys Vance until they reach Avalande Town. Timeline: These Eras is affected by Yz-Arc Continent Only. Frotto Era : 1305-1386 AD, 81 Years , Ruled by Great Lord Adamus Frottonus ►During Frotto Era 1351 AD, An Explorer Named Escalione De Vidali Discover a Mysterious Island and named it followed by his name: Vidali Island He spent months travelling around the island and ends up climbing a different mountain, He never expected such a mountain exist, as he reached the peak of the mountain he spent days looking at the view of the island and sketching a map for it. Days passed as he once noticed there's a mysterious plant started to grow in the center of the peak. He saw rocks elevating around the plant and got curious about the plant, He harvested as many as he can and return to his research lab. Years have passed as he studied the plant, he started to notice that the plant doesn't grow anymore in the said mountain so he tried to visit every year he can to check the spot where it grew... ►During Frotto Era 1386 AD, Lord Adamus Frottonus died in a terrible sickness and had passed the crown to his student Veinance Vandeleir and he became the next lord of the Continent of Yz-arc naming the new Era "Vanir" derived from his surname Vandeleir. Vanir Era :1386-1448 AD, 62 Years , Ruled by Lord Veinance Vandeleir and Lord Venjamin Vandeleir ►During Vanir Era 1401 AD, After years of Researching, Escalione De Vidali finally spotted the comeback of the plant, It grows exactly at the same place as he saw it before. Now he came down to a conclusion that this plant only grows every 50 years. He told his researchers to continue what he started because he was starting to feel weaker every single day. One time when he was suffering from a terrible sick, He asked one of his students to try the Plant in his body if it creates any reaction. A very young Researcher tried to inject a dose of this mysterious plant to his neck as he starts to feel very weird. Days have passed and Escalione started to react on the injected genes on his body, he became weirder and weirder everyday as he decided to go back on travelling., He was reported dead after a few months and his body was never been found. The Mountain was named Mt. Escallion and the plant as Escallion after his death. ►During Vanir Era 1423 AD, Lord Veinance Vandeleir was assassinated by an unknown person. Passing his crown to his only son Venjamin Vandeleir, becoming the 2nd Lord of Vanir Era ►During Vanir Era 1430 AD, Lord Venjamin Vandeleir's Wife, Valeria Vandeleir gave birth to her first-born son and named him Veinhart France Vandeleir, and after 2 years (1432 AD) Valeria gave another birth to her 2nd-born son and named him Vance France Vandeleir, Not long after Vance was born (1436 AD), Valeria died and was buried at Mt. Articuna where her family was all buried. ►During Vanir Era 1443 AD, Venjamin Taught Veinhart and Vance on how to protect themselves using a hand to hand combat, the Art of Sword, and Mastering Tactics. They also became a student of an early mercenary-on-train-program that Venjamin held in-case of future possible war. ►During Vanir Era 1448 AD, VillaCorte Dominican Empire will be having war to the far east, Luxima Aragon Empire. Venjamin set thousands of armies for this war, Including his sons. It ended after the Dominicans won the war, Venjamin died during the war but left a Victory. Cronus Blamed Venjamin from the attack of the Aragons and stated to the public that Venjamin is a traitor. Both his son who was supposed to be the next lords was kicked out of the Castle and became stray-kids, Cronus took the place as the new Lord of VillaCorte Dominican City to the reason of his bravery during the war, Vanir Era ended and started a new Era of 'Cronus'. Cronus Era : 1448-Present(1451)AD , Ruled by Lord Kaiser Cronus ►During Cronus Era 1448 AD, Many people suffered as early as Kaiser Cronus became the new lord of the continent,as he stated a new law of additional 50% in paying taxes for an unknown reason, No one can complain as he stated to that law, whoever complains shall be slain by their throat. Vance and Vein started to live outside the city and built a small tent for their shelter. They are planning to get justice to their father who has been betrayed by Kaiser Cronus. ►During Cronus Era Early 1451 AD, Vein and Vance was brought to VillaCorte Underground Prison for unknown reasons and escaped few weeks later, Now the Empire of VillaCorte were looking for them. ![]() The World in this game is Fictional and is not existed in our world, Though some Influences will be applied, Like naming things from Latin, German, Greek, Norse, etc. The world is consist of 4 Continents, Mainly East, West, South and North. Yz-Arc Continent, From the Far West of the World. Contains One large Land known as the Home of the Swords because of skilled swordsmen. LeLuxima Continent, From the Far East of the World. Contains 2 Medium Connected Lands partly South and North(North LeLuxima and South Leluxima.). Known as the Home of the Nobles because of their wealth and high-intellects. Helios Continent, From the South of the World. Contains about 32 Islands, Known as the Home of the Sun because of it's Tropical Climate, Doesn't Rain much and mostly having a hot weather. Lumina Continent, From the North of the World. He founds himself lying in Mt. Escallion with his brother who is already dead. A Young man with Furious Anger to Kaiser Cronus, and keeping all emotions about his grief. Once a happy child that became a Serious Guy. He and his brother Veinhart planned to make a Secret Small Villa and Recruited Talented people to Free their nation from Cronus. Veinhart Vandeleir Gender: Male Role: Main Character Age: 22 Years old Info: 1st Son of Former Lord Venjamin Vandeleir, Died at Mt. Escallion. Protected his brother through out his whole life as what he promised to their mother. His Mother Valeria Vandeleir, Her Girlfriend Elena Riviera, and so as his bestfriend Cain Camus died right before his eyes. He doesn't fear Death after that. and will risk all his life to protect his brother. Valeria Vandeleir (Deceased) Gender: Female Role: Mother of Vance and Vein Age: 45 Years old Info: A Princess of Aragon City at LeLuxima Continent, Became Husband of Venjamin Vandeleir from the Yz-Arc Continent. Was assassinated from an Unknown Man. She was found bleeding to death by her first son Vein in her room. Venjamin Vandeleir (Deceased) Gender: Male Role: Father of Vance and Vein Age: 48 Years old Info: Son of Veinance Vandeleir, Became the 2nd Lord of Vanir Era at his age 25, He was signing a Peace Contract between Luxima and Yz-Arc as one of the High Orders Objected. (It pretty much kills everyone else's) Like hell, I need to work on mine... Wow, I'm very speechless, this is a very impressive project! I see that this project has been put to a lot of work and planning.
May I ask, how do you go about making or planning out such impressive features like your maps and HUD's, obviously it takes practice and trial and error to make them the way you want them to be. I just could never picture myself doing the things that you could do, what you do is just extremely epic! I'm going to be honest with myself, I don't think my project could hold a candle to your project. I'm definitely supporting this project! Hanzo is one of the best members, and one of the best RPG Makers I've seen. He has many custom scripts, graphics, tiles, is a great writer, and a great mapper, among other things! No offense to you, but I tend to dislike games with world maps. Of course that is because I usually like smaller-scale games, but playing the Cartographer, I was really upset at having to run around with the world map, since your character is so large compared to it, it just gets annoying... But I hope your world map works out (it will b/c of those cliff tiles you got)

well you can't take the fact that world map exists in most RPG Games. ANd it expresses the distance of places, I just think making connected maps only(no overview map) is pretty hard to express and travel because you'll get back to some towns and places from time to time ( You don't just go to a random town and leave and you never comeback again, I mean every town has its importance to it so from time to time you have to comeback for quests and everything)

I prefer the Paper Mario: TTYD style. There are modes of transportation to each area and no world map. For example, a train took them on a 3 day voyage to a high-class town. And a boat took them on another 3 day voyage to a cursed island. Cutting out the gruesome world map with something that adds plot. A whole section of the game was on the train.

Transportation is not a big deal it is existed in the game.
Well I don't know all of my favorite games uses this style, from PS1 Games, Final Fantasy(Not to be specific), Legend of Legaia, Legend of Dragoon, Suikoden Series, Seinarukana, etc. I want to keep that Tradition It only sucks when you don't know what you are doing Thanks for your opinion anyway This post has been edited by Hanzo Kimura: Sep 25 2010, 07:20 AM -------------------- |
