I'm going to teach people how to make a floor that randomly cracks.
Step 1: Choose where the cracks will be. Step 2: Create a new event where the cracks will be. Step 3: Make a page 2 and use what the cracked floor will look like (I use the black hole in tileset D). Step 4: On the second page, turn on self switch A. Also, set it to player touch. Step 5: Set page 1 to player touch as well. Step 6: Insert a control variable on page 1. Step 7: Make the variable a random number 0-whatever you want it to be. You can make it 0-0 for cracked when stepped on, or 0-10 to make breaking really rare. Step 8: Insert a conditional branch and make the variable if equal to 0 to turn on self switch A and teleport the player to the floor below. Now test it out, it should work! I'm including a test demo, and also inside is how a poison tile could work. In addition, you could make it that a certain class can disarm the poision tiles or the breaking by making a conditional branch by seeing is the person who is the disarming class and if they are that nothing happens, but if not, then the regular processes take place. http://www.mediafire.com/?cgvbjjanu4u -------------------- Userbars
