Is it OK if I request? I listened to your songs and they are ass whoopin. I liked the shattered mirrors battle theme.
Type: Its a city Title: Crowded Instruments: Electric guitar, Drums, Strings, Bells Mood: Not fast like a battle theme but not slow like a emotional theme. Happy and exciting. Extra: The instruments should be similar to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-0MSxaYqes If you have any questions about my request ask me. This is if you take requests. -------------------- If you are a believer of Jesus Christ, and are 100% proud of it, put this in your sig.

QUOTE Just...give me a few more informations. For example, what instruments would you like to hear in the song? Hmm... Creepyish strings, drums (seems to be a recurring theme...), somewhat fast pace, faster than old magic but slower than meteorite (which is also awesome), probably trumpets/lower tone horns, and, perhaps a gong/cymbal. Here's a sample of that other track I mentioned. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUIZvAe3RBg -------------------- *It is time to update the Master Script List! Hi, it seems you have brought my out of my forum stalking and have encouraged me to post
Honestly I think you are a great composer, I namely enjoy Lancon's theme and Lightning storm. Lightning storm took me by surprise, it was the second song I listened to of yours and I was just causually listening. As the song progresses it seems to really take hold of you, at first there's this (sort of, not really, but kinda) slow escalation into the song. It's so subtle that you don't realize the song is about to draw you into its "main course" (I need to think of better terminologies). One the piano hits it ties in so well with the rest of the sounds, don't really know how to describe it but I found it amazing. Lancon's theme is perhaps my favorite. Mainly due to the fact that you really built it upon the character, the whole song embodies that character. It covers both his sorrows while releasing the monstrous rage inside of him. What I really liked about this is how it toned back down at the end, the way the song switched from one point to another just meshed so well. You did very well at transitioning those two parts and keeping the theme in the song. And toning it down like that.... Wow it just brought so much more CHARACTER to the dev's already made character. Honestly this song made me feel those emotions, even at the end, with the piano it made me feel helpless in a way. Almost as if that his revenge has been sought out and his rage dies he can no longer push back the feelings of loosing his friend and no matter what he does he can never bring him back (thus that feeling of helplessness). Even the parts that are suppose to depict his sorrow contain so much intensity (something I really liked about it) There was a part in the song about 1 minute in, when we had gotton to Lancon's 'rage'. Where the song drops I guess? (told you I need better teminology) It's probably only for a second but its amazing, cause it jumps straight back into it. There's just so much FEELINGS put into this song! Wow I didn't expect to go on this long of a review about it. But truth be told this is one of my favorite peices of yours I've heard so far. This is the type of song that someone hears in a game and downloads it later to listen to contantly on their MP3 player. Professional grade, definitely. Now that being said there are a few songs that I'm not too incredibly fond of (Wasn't too big in Sundown) but for the most part I really enjoy your songs. Can't wait to hear more This post has been edited by Nuadin: Jan 26 2011, 08:42 AM -------------------- "History shall be kind to me for I intend to write it." - Winston Churchhill ![]() |

All the music are nicely done and amazing. And you composed all of those music in real life?
You'll be really sucessful in life. Keep up the good work. Btw, are we able to use the requested music from other people or only the non-requested music? I must say, Your music is amazing. And the quality of the sounds in the music is pure awesome sause. The composer I have cant even compare to the quality of yours. I think im gonna put you're music on my mp3 player to listen to over and over again, lol. If you don't mind me asking, what music program did you use?
I'm using a free version of a program called anvil studios currently. It's alright considering its free, and the voices aren't terrible. It's just that you can tell they are fake. Your music is very, VERY, nice and I can't wait to hear more. -------------------- Spoiler: I support: Spoiler: |

Haha, well thanks! And I noticed there was a small hiatus there Oh and look it seems someone has already MP3d your songs (@Jolan). My predictions came true, haha, but I can't blame him. I listen to Lancon's Theme everynow and then just cause I enjoy listening to it. Anyways, don't want to spam your thread with talk about your music when I'm sure there's requests that are probably being worked on/being made. And...here it is. I've just finished one of the songs I've been struggling with for a while.
It's The Light Within, the "main theme" of Hoopsnake Games' Dragonfire Wars. I...don't really know what to say! As always, I appreciate every comment and criticism you'll offer me On a side note, I'm right now workin' on "Crowded", recording guitar parts. It's almost done, I should upload it in the next few days. -------------------- In memory of Javier... |

As Promised a Review on your latest peice:
Well first off, this one is in a way similar to the feel of Lancon's theme, so as you can imagine I like it. The reason why I feel that way is because of the soft beginning that leads into a stronger more powerful middle and ending off with a focus on the piano. When the chorus first came into play it felt it was building up to something, I oddly enjoyed the anticipation it made me feel. And then it dropped into that beautiful tune accompanied with that chorus. I wasn't expecting it at all and this is going to sound really cheesy but it made my heart drop. It was really rather beautiful and the name really suits the song. I found myself closing my eyes and moving my head to the music. Haha, even though that sounds silly it's true (But that was about the third time around of listening to it, I decided to listen to it while writing the review.) Anyways, good work. Really like this one. More then I expected actually, its one of those songs where first listen is pretty good. Second listen is amazing! Keep up the hard work, can't wait to hear more @ Jolan: Can't argue with you there This post has been edited by Nuadin: Feb 1 2011, 11:29 PM -------------------- "History shall be kind to me for I intend to write it." - Winston Churchhill ![]() |

Thou art an artist. Really and truly. You put more work into some of your songs than I would've thought possible. It's like ogres. Ogres have layers, and so do onions. But ALSO, there are your songs...
