I need to make it possible to disable (separately) each 4 commands (attack, skill, guard, item). I want to do this for a battle tutorial. Kind of like when you say, "Okay, so attack the enemy!" I want only the attack command to be available.
I think the easiest way to do this is to make 4 states (status effect) for each of them (which I could then force). I am guessing that we would have to script them and put like "No-Attack," "No-Guard," "No-Skill," and "No-Item" into the appropriate state's note box. Also, I am using Tankentai Sideview with ATB, if that is important. This is a script for a protect skill: http://www.rpgmakervx.net/index.php?showto...mp;#entry272243 I showed that because I think it is useful to show how to call a script based on state and the note call thing. This is a script to get rid of the attack command throughout the entire game: http://www.rpgmakervx.net/index.php?showto...amp;#entry71276 I think that is useful because it shows how to get rid of one of the battle commands, just not dependent on state. So all I need is for someone to combine the two methods together >_> Unless there is another method to go around disabling the commands that I did not think of. I would greatly appreciate any help :3 |
