After two-and-a-half years, several restarts, and many drafts, it's finally here! Massive quantities of effort were poured into this game, so comments are very much appreciated.
Name: Darthin Capital: Irnthis Description: Originally composed of clans of nomads, Darthin is now a mighty country, rich in culture and rare herbs. Its soldiers are some of the greatest ever trained. However, because of its location, there are few ways in or out of its desert lands. Location: Southern Continent
Name: Grian Capital: Grian Description: Grian has a very small army, but it is still a thriving nation. This is all due to one thing: the mines. Grian is home to extensive mineral and rock deposits, ranging from gold and silver, to iron and granite. Although it is located underneath Darthin, it has an intense rivalry with its sister country. Location: Southern Continent, below Darthin
Name: Fe'nor Capital: Fe'nor Description: Fe'nor, the flame of the south, is the largest empire ever formed in the history of mankind. Its naval fleet is unprecedented, as well as the size of its cities. Location: Southern Continent
Name: United Giants Capital: N/A Description: The United Giants was created to establish communication between the wandering tribes of giants. Owning to their recent establishment, they only contain four tribes. Location: Eastern Continent
Name: Black Six Description: Named and patterned after an ancient organization, they believe in anarchy. Their numbers are growing because of the stirring speeches put on by the six leaders. Location: Northern Continent
Name: Allied Countries Description: A union of five nations: Darthin, Grian, Fe'nor, Riflan, and the United Giants. They hold annual council at the capitals of each member. It is at one such council that this story begins. Location: Eastern and Southern Continents
Goblins from the sun, filled with burning light; Wolves from the moon, chilling in their plight; Dragons from the heavens, flying from their birth; And Man from the fires, deep within the Earth
And so things were, with Man living in the North, unaware of his Southern neighbors. And so things were, and so things might have stayed, were it not for great evils that began to sweep the land.
Man's blow was the softest, for it had been checked before it had gained true power: the Wars of Six. However, soft is relative.
The other races were not so fortunate. Their encounter came swift and subtle, a striking snake. A hooded figure came his pale hand destroying armies. He became known as the Dark One.
At this time a plague emerge, a terrible, mentally-degrading plague. Together with the Dark One, they formed the Army of Plague.
Eventually, only one stronghold remained for the free ones. But it was too late to stop the Army. In a final stand, all of the priests joined their powers together in one great spell. The earth spilled open, pouring liquid fire upon all in sight. Almost all were consumed.
When Man came from the north, the confused and disorganized Wolves struck out, soon joined by Dragons and Goblins. They had no power to resist Man's counterattack. Driven into hiding, they were all but forgotten.
3,000 years have passed since then, and man dominates the Earth. A council for the Allied Countries convenes in Irnthis, and life rumbles on. Two guards, Ecaro and Jalan, have the fourth watch. As mysterious events unfold, strange rumors begin to emerge. Rumors of the Black Six, rumors of Death, and rumors of ultimate doom. And soon rumors, will no longer just be rumors.
Name: Ecaro Age: 24 Height: 6' 3'' Weight: 195 lbs Nationality: Darthin Bio: He was raised solely by father, his mother having died in child birth. When his father died in the Bandit Wars, eleven years ago, he was apprenticed to a guard. Four years ago, he came of age and was accepted as a member of the guard. Personality: He has an unusual distrust of strangers, and he comes off as cold and distant. However, once you have earned his trust, he is loyal to the bitter end. He maintains an irrational prejudice against the people of Grian.
Name: Jalan Age: 27 Height: 6' Weight: 180 lbs Nationality: Darthin Bio: Born into a high-ranking noble family, he has often had whatever he wanted. Eventually, he became aware of the reality of poverty. Due to his many acts of charity, he won the support of the people and was elected Captain of the Guard. Personality: He is devoted to a fault towards his country. He does have a kind heart, but many of his actions are for the sake of his image.
Name: Lloyd Age: 30 Height: 5' 8'' Weight: 223 lbs Nationality: Grian Bio: Born and raised in a mining town, Lloyd has always been strong. At the age of fifteen he was a full fledged miner. He has recently become head miner, and the pressure is starting to get to him. Personality: Lloyd is a firm believer in hard work, looking down on scholarly types. He is usually quite friendly, and is able to resolve many problems. He dislikes sunlight, having been confined to caves for the majority of his life.
