Different passage settings for each tile, animated parallax and extra lighting/shadows.

I did think of that at first, but didn't think people would want to restart their projects etc. But it's better than nothing, right? I'll upload it in a minute.

Also, I'm surprised by how many people have stopped using XP. I feel sad.

Okay, added the demo with KGC's settings already configured (directional passages are exactly the same as in the tutorial). Mind you I forgot to take out the default TileE, so remember to replace it with a blank TileE since now it has white squares in it.

Wow, thanks, Celianna! Will it work if we just copy all the data/resources and what not into the new project you uploaded?

I would be using XP, but I got my laptop recently, so it came with Windows 7 (which is turning out to be okay).

Sorry, I phrased that stupidly.
I mean, if I copy and paste all the data from my game into this new project file, will it delete the tileset changes you've made? Or is that what those .dll's are for?
I just don't wanna accidentally overwrite anything. x3

That's why I said I don't know >_<

I don't know what KGC's program overwrote, so all I gotta say is; try it out and see for yourself.

Again; I do not read Japanese, I have no idea what it says.

I do however have a clean project uploaded with the settings already made so you don't have to use the tileset editor.

Does the animated parallax script cause much lag? Say you have a 50x50 map cycling through 3-4 frames... I assume that it can't be much, if any, since a lot of people use this, but I'd like to know for sure before I go off using it.
Thanks!

I haven't experienced any lag, though transferring to a (big) map might lag a bit more than usually, once it's loaded it should be fine. So no, it doesn't lag, but it will definitely increase your file size.

When I tried opening the tileset tool, it said, "The application failed to initialize properly". How do I fix this?

I don't know, but there's a blank project file that you can download that has all the correct settings for the TileE set so you don't have to use the tileset tool anymore.
