My first most memorable Final Boss would be;

Machinedramon, from Digimon World. (PS1) As a kid, I played digimon world from ages
5 - probably 9. These memories are good as gold.

My second would be;

True Ogre, from Tekken 3. (PS1) Imo, Tekken has never been greater since.

it was an amazing fight a hard one to, id say it took me 20 tries to beat him, not to mention the angel thing just looks awesome.

Dark Falz from Phantasy Star Online.. i loved the beautiful scenery before encountering him.. but then everything is covered in darkness *-*
And if you thought that you have won he changed into his next form XD

Both of those guys are pretty cool, although its kind of hard to decipher which part is dark falz, and which part is his throne?

I've never played devil may cry, but I've heard a ton of hype over the years.

I was curious to see what he's all about, and I've gotta say phantasy star looks great. I pictured this guy as a stationary boss, but he battles upside down? Unless I've got the wrong form.

Ganondorf in OOT, hands down. I'm going with this one because I'm pretty sure this was the first game I ever beat. x3
Yeeeah, I kinda sucked at video games when I was a kid. Hahaha

I think if I had a second place, it'd be a tie between The Boss (MGS3) and Necron (FF9). Necron mostly because FF9 was one of my favorite games in my pre-teen years... still is, actually. c;

Mine would be from Tales of Symphonia, I called him "Oh-I'm-A-Man-I-Just-Look-And-Sound-Like-A-Girl", tho his name is Mithos. He was a fun boss.

He was an also fun boss. Both were time consuming.

I was thinking "That was the final boss" from that game? Then I remembered, I was thinking of Phantasy Star Portable (PSU for the PSP) That game was so fun.

I just beat this game, and the whole thinmg was amazing in my opinion. This last boss was fin and the end of the game oveall was fantastic.

Does third encounter with Barthandelus from Final Fantasy XIII counts? Orphan was a little too easy. Beaten with party of Light, Fang and Sazh (though I don't remember who was the leader). This game is one of few games which really requires strategy.

And then when you beat him the massive explosion is pure brilliance...

Xemnas in KH2 has always been a favorite.

And Giygas from Earthbound, despite not playing it. (I watched an LP though, if that counts. =V)

These are all great posts! I remember battling Ansem, Xemnas, Ganon, and Bowser.
I used to play Zelda when I was 6, and I remember being terrified by the zombies in
Hyrule castle, so I put it away for nearly 10 years. Those zombies freaked me out.

Anybody remember Andross? I played over this ending probably 6 times.

My 2nd would be;

This dino guy from metroid fusion. I don't think they ever gave it a name, but this was my
favorite final boss in the metroid series.

@Voltage: That andross form was a bastard lol I beat him a billion times they I used to play that game all the time. And I remeber that dino guy too, that was a good boss and an awesome game overall. But thats cuz metroids awesome.
