Yo Dodeca, those tracks are pretty awesome.
I really liked them, they're fun and exciting but not in a lame way, you should definitely keep them going.
If you don't mind constructive criticism then keep reading, other wise just skip this next paragraph.
I know they're not finished, but some of the melodies (in the over world theme)
don't seem like they know where they're going.
Minus that, these sounds are pretty cool and what I would call them an awesome start.
Freggin heck, forgot my password and never have time for anything >:c.
Anyways, yea, they shouldn't sound like they know where they're going, I made them at like 12 in the morning and was lazy about them lol.
The first one is all drop loop and the other one is just wubs and arp, but the midi versions will have much better composition and will likely sound different.
See my discography for midi version music (although the second song isn't done yet, the first one might be done today.)
Although I could make like five decent songs in a day if I wanted to, the main problem is time. I have school, which I'm failing at in every class, and when I don't I have a ton of work at home from school or other things. If I have free time I'll work on my game, but not specifically the music, which I love to do the most. I also work on the sound effects, animations and sprites which take much more time than music...
If I did make the music first, I'd be tempted to just rearrange all of it in higher quality and just make an album/soundtrack or something before the game is even released and then I wouldn't have much motivation to make the game other than to put a story into which would bother me (to make my priorities more clear.)
Here's the midi version of the first one. I put most work in the percussion since I imagined this being used for an underground earth/firey level;http://dl.dropbox.com/u/110207892/PS/Dirt%...%20Solitude.mp3
No, this is not a "game made version". This is how I originally imagined it really.
The kick hat snare hat was also more so satire in the electronic version.

I used to make EDM as a brony musician. I don't really like sticking to one thing and I just don't really care about it [EDM] specifically anymore. Although I might make a few musical sketches with that sound still every once in a while, there's not much special about it in my current opinion.

Well, I was on skype talking to some brony musicians and stuff and I ended up making this today because I just felt like it.
Not sure if I'll ever actually finish it, but here's what I made in the short time I had today;http://dl.dropbox.com/u/110207892/Bunny%20Bounce.mp3
Named it bunny bounce, after the synth name I made for the bouncing bass. All sounds made in Harmless. Genre is complextro. Drums belong to Touhou soundfont.
