Continuing the adventures of Reuben and his friends, this time our hero sets out on the task to clear the name of one of his old companions.
The Cartographer II keeps the light rpg setting established in the first game, this time taking place in the conflicted southern region of the continent, our heroes will explore the arid lands of Shams Al Din to the mistical island of Gensyuken, fighting pirates and terrifiyn cults, worshipers of ancient underwater creatures.
Previous to the events of the first game Arcturus Mortem convinced Jade Artrias to steal the Draconimicon in order to locate the legendary Howling Island. After failing to read the book, Arcturus finds Reuben, a new Dragon Slayer, and requests his help to achivew his plans.
At the present time an inquisitor from the holy land of Hyrleghast as reached Cinnamon town to find out the whereabouts of Jade Artrias.
Reuben Rainard, having returned to Cinnamon he feels he can hang his Dragon Sword and hopefully never need to use it, but the news of his friend Jade makes him gear up and prepare for a new adventure.
Alina Flagg, with the thought of settling down in Cinnamon town for a while, she opens a school of magic, but the presence of the Inquisitor reminds her of the fragility of her current life and makes her think of her past, a past she isnt ready to share with Reuben.
Mary Iliaren after having struggled with the awful review made by the "Spend the night?" magazine and managing to not close the Inn through out the months Reuben was out, hearing that her friends will leave again, thats just to much for her.
Will Gerard constantly dreaming of epic adventures and becoming a grand warrior himself, he won't pass this oportunity to travel along side Reuben, Althendrias Dragon Slayer. Though he will learn the hardships of the path of a hero.
So!!... the recruiting part, I did post this here for a reason xD Here's the thing, my english isn't that good, I would say its cause english isnt my first language batz I write spanish just as sloppy as I write english xD. I'm pretty sure I can convey well enough the general feeling of a scene or the main idea of the dialogue... but in a very blunt way, nothing is subtle or interesting, its more like a check list of stuff the characters should say xD So, I'm looking for a little help, I need a team to spellcheck, grammar fix and give bit of feedback on how the game is going. I know this is asking a lot but the work pace wont be so hard, the game is divided in chapters so it will go one at a time : )
Plus you'll be one the first people who will play the TC2... how cool is that xD
I apreciate any help but I'm looking for people who know how to write dialogues and stuff : / So before diving in the whole game, we can test stuff out with a demo of the game : )
I'd love to help out. Just downloaded the first one(but won't have time to play it till later this evening) after stumbling over your game trailer while looking up stuff on Youtube. The first game looks amazing and I'd love to help out with your sequel.
Yes, I am so [filtered]ing hot I want to have my own babies.
I've learned a valuable lesson from watching old episodes of Carmen Sandiego: Mexicans steal sh*t and then run away.
It looks like you've got enough beta testers, but I'll throw my hat in the ring anyway. Really loved the first one, and I'm very much looking forward to the sequel. EDIT: And if you're looking for someone to actually write dialouge, I'm interested in that as well. I can provide you with examples if you like.
