Hello everyone! I have took the time to create a monster generator for everyone.
I have took it up with Jasonicus Prime and Avadan and they gave me the permission to post it here. You know how Damien666 the great Code Master made his Character Creater VX. His inspiration allowed me to create this program because his generator is only compatible with humans and humanoid monsters. This is the link for you to download. Don't forget to add the $ sign first before you name your monster. UPDATED: 8:02 p.m. 6/12/11 Hello everyone! I am back again for the new release of StormKat's Monster Generator vs.3.0! This is the new Monster Generator! StormKat's Monster Generator Vs. 3.0 UPDATED: Extra accessories and heads. (Dragon Head),(Skull Head), Torsos(Female Fighter torso)(a Dead Female Fighter torso),(a new Robotic Head"drawn from scratch"),Orcs Head, Back Display(Shoulder Guns in assorted colors),(Eggplant monster with plantlike accessories added),and two Metal Mask with points that came from Damien 666 Sprite Generator(2 recolored). REMEMBER: Some items are not compatible with other heads just yet and will be in the future. If it doesn't fit, it isn't compatible. If you're skilled with Photoshop you can align them yourselves. These are from Rpg Maker XP and are edited to fit VX. These are for your Battlefields, sub-Bosses, Main Bosses, and etc. This format is in .psd and is compatible for Adobe Photoshop and Gimp. I hope you have enjoyed Version 2.0! Version 3.0 is not a huge update, but it does have very good amount stuff to add or your monsters. If you have any ideas concerning torsos, heads, and etc. those are highly welcomed. A female torso: Now Available! Not in nude! NOTE 2: The "Metal Mask Second Position" head gear isn't compatible for the Dragon Head, as it is unaligned. If you are decently skilled with the Photoshop programs and know how to copy and paste the images to align the head gear then feel free to do so. Just start a new layer and name it for the Dragon Head compatibility. Now, "Metal Mask Second Position" is compatible for the other monster heads. NOTE 3: There is a horn layer called Horns 2 that won't fit some heads as it is compatible for others. It isn't compatible for Bull Head and Tiger Head. You will notice that there is a layer called Horns for the Tiger Head, just for the time being it is only compatible for the Tiger Head. When new body features will be added then it might be compatible for others. These Notes are important for me to write these down for you to let you all know ahead of time what is being compatible and what is not. NOTE 4: If you are a skilled Spriter and with the Photoshop programs that are mentioned, your help is highly appreciated. I will give you credit for your help. There will be Version updates coming soon and if you all want to help, you can re-upload the Monster Generator and I will rename the vs. number. I love to do this for the Community. This would definitely provide me some use one day when I want a slithering tiger battler with lobster claws.
Are you planning to add more cat-like features? Just curious. -------------------- |

This would definitely provide me some use one day when I want a slithering tiger battler with lobster claws. Are you planning to add more cat-like features? Just curious. LOL! Yeah, I am currently adding some new torsos to the program. I just used an XP sprite that has a strong similarity to that of a robot. I am using that torso and it's head feature as a battle droid. This is just me, I love Greek mythologies and other world cultures dealing with our ancients. How you have half-this and half-that. Oh yes, this is going to get even more bizarre! I am currently brainstorming plant like creatures with strange combinations and man, this is just the tip of the iceberg! So hang in there in give me a few more days and I'll update it again. -------------------- When there's a will for a Wizard, there's also a way. ~ StormKat

Okay, are you folks sure you all know how to use the Photoshop programs? Do you all have Gimp or any other image editing software?
If not, go ahead and get one. If you want to learn how to use this program feature, I highly recommend you all to learn how to use lady Celianna's Faceset Generator. It is the same concept, she also has videos posted on Youtube. I'm almost done with the robotic torso. Remember it is an XP sprite, he is a human sprite so i decided to use him as a robot. I will have some new images and will upload in the next day or so. Also, remember, if you are a skilled Photoshop user and know how to use the lasso tool feel free to add some more images. I will credit your name in this thread. -------------------- When there's a will for a Wizard, there's also a way. ~ StormKat

Is there an import feature where I can import my own monster parts? Yes. It's in .psd format if you have a Photoshop program. Keep in mind it's also for Gimp too. Just make sure to manually align your images with all of the other images too. Open a new layer and name it whatever you want to, each layer has to remain the same size. If you change the size of one layer it affects all of the other layers. I will credit your name, just let me know and I'll add it to the download link as an update. It is a great generator, especial for those who "Lack necessary skills for day career" in sprinting.
My only critique is in-completion, however the upside is, people can request additions that they prefer, because Most [not all] generator creators shelve their project once completed instead of going back occasionally and improve them. Ranting aside I would also like customizable orc, skeleton, and dracoian parts (about two unique sets for both genders). Thank you in advance. -------------------- |

I usually get the resources from VX and XP. Right now, I have been brainstorming on what to do as far as body parts go. I am thinking on making the right move. You can do some editing I don't mind. I can give you some tutorials on how to use the Lasso tool in the Photoshop programs. I don't draw the parts from scratch but I am going to get some good resources from my friends on this forum. -------------------- When there's a will for a Wizard, there's also a way. ~ StormKat

if it does then i will be happy to help. and may you please pass me those tutorials. Go to Gimp Website<--- to download the free full program. Here's the Youtube video. Youtube Gimp Lasso Tutorial You can view Celianna's Faceset Generator Youtube tutorial, http://www.rpgmakervx.net/index.php?showtopic=33443. Her tutorial is great, it will show you how to work with the Layers. Remember, .psd(Photoshop Document) is compatible with Gimp Photoshop. Note: This is my opinion, I prefer to use Gimp as it is a thousand times easier to use. It's for free and it isn't complicated at all. Also, being a Freelance Photographer, it's a money saver. -------------------- When there's a will for a Wizard, there's also a way. ~ StormKat
