Long ago, a malevolent dragon of the skies appeared from nowhere and laid waste to the land, but a hero garbed in green (the color of life) forged a celestial sword from the elements and cunningly sealed away the beast. Again with the use of the elements, the people rebuilt their civilization.

The same group responsible for the incident did not die away. It continued in an underground fashion, operating until the present day. Once again it plans to release the Third Realm Dragon. When it does so, they plan to take its power over the seasons and sculpt the world as they see fit.

Your main character is one day washed up on a beach, without any memories of his life up until that point. He is soon taken up by the local community of Cierna, a small village at the foot of Mount Bardoh, though separated by the Orabe Forest.

Will you find Group O? Can you stop them? Will Hero turn out to be a Legendary Hero?
Will you save the world? Can you find out how to? Will you destroy all that is good and join the dark side? Sorry, you can’t do the latter.

There are three realms, it is told. The first is the realm of chaos, of infinite possibility. The second is of order, of a divine perfection that holds the essences of all that adhere to order.

Then, there is the third realm, a realm where reflection is the rule and order and chaos mix to create a new, fresh reality.
The reflection of celestial order is split into the elements. These elements were then worshipped by the various people of the world, who built temples called Temoke as shrines to the (what they viewed as) fundamental forces that comprised their life. Fire, ice, wind, and earth, which all combined to give them their life, were viewed as the only necessary components of life…

Hero

The amnesiac who you play as throughout the journey. First supposed by Cierna to be a “hero in green” to fight Group O, but you quickly learn that’s not the case.
Raizzen

A jerk and skillfully so, Raizzen often likes to take childish jabs at the protagonist for simply hogging all the glory. He uses the Earth element and can attack using the power of plants and biology. Someday he will germinate and grow out of his bad habits. Hopefully his character will Raizzen he’ll leave you alone.
Kyran

A legendary hero from another land, apparently. Really just a foreign traveler taken from his Inn and forced to confront the great evils of Group O.
Alex

A girl from the Hardrox Desert who excels in hand-to-hand combat. She uses her wind elemental powers to create strong currents and really doesn’t condone Raizzen’s rude behavior.

A commander of Orobos’ forces. He is even more hateful than Raizzen and really does not enjoy kids.
Orobos

The mysterious figure leading Group O toward its goal. All his followers speak of him in reverence.

More than just dungeon crawling! Overworld powers give you the ability to solve map puzzles.
Though there may not be many now, dungeons will also be expanded in the future.

I want to also emphasize the part about adding your own characters and adventures into the Foreign Lands section if you're interested.
Think of it like a community character get-together!
I'd really like to see support for this aspect to pull through because I believe it would be really fun to see happen!

So, Patch 2 is out! This patch fixes the MANY bugs that plagued the game, preventing gameplay from advancing past the Fire Temoke and devastating crops throughout the world.

Don't worry, there's a way to fix this.

Just download Patch 2, and the rest of the game will be free of debilitating mistakes! Catcat and I worked together to rid the errors from the game, so everything should be fine now.

Enjoy, and leave feedback on your impressions on the game if you do decide to download it. It would be of great help!

hey im at the good luck ghost quest what do i do? He keeps saying he fills like a million buck and that i dont need to give him anything. Also i like this game who has a nice storyline to it and nice mapping.

That's what the lucky ghost says when you've given it the item it needs, so you're done with that quest.

A lot of this game is decent and it seems like you ma have rushed the mapping a little bit. And right now I'm stuck right after I get that sword on my back. Problem is I cant go to the desert cant find a battle to get tokens and so I cant get anywhere right now. WHere am I supposed to go?

How did you set up that background for your battles? They look really nice.

Hopefully my mapping skills get better.
You have to go to Orabe Forest, north of the commercial part of Cierna, and follow the path to the right in order to get to the Earth Temoke.
I should also point out that there is a journal in Hero's house that you can check whenever you are stuck with where to go next.

I just took a screenshot of the tiles and fixed them up in GIMP by enlarging them and giving perspective. It's just an illusion of 3D.
Also added a Patch 2.1. It has small fixes to graphics and shadows on enemies and added some diagonal tiles to the Fire Temoke. Took about 2 minutes to do in all, so it's your choice on whether to download it or not.

I just need to say that Patch 2.1 is the last of my patches and VX involvements (at least for now,) since I no longer have access to RPG Maker VX (computer failure.) I won't be able to support the Foreign Lands feature because of this.

Do you have the VX RTP installed?
If not, you can download it from the link above. Otherwise it won't work, since my download doesn't come with the RTP (sorry!).

Useful hints for people playing the game right now:
-You can press F5 to make the game run at triple speed. Everything goes by much more quickly.
-Mining is also helped by this.
-Rubble and fallen piles of rock that have collapsed in front of entrances can be blasted using dynamite to unveil shortcuts.
-Save as often as possible during the Earth Temoke, since those battles are tough. There is a bed nearby that you can use to recover.

When you are ready to, please take half a minute of your time to complete the survey. It is very helpful.

I'm also keeping track of individual votes in order to see the correlation between progress through the game and opinion of it at those points.
