Introduction
You can use this script demo to make games like Megaman and Castlevania, Metal Slug, and other Platform games. This is prolly the best platform engine in rmvx.

Features
- custom animations for left dash, right dash, jump, fall, left shot, right shot, guard, hit, death
- highly customizable bullets which will provide a variety, from graphics to motion
- allows party member swap
- very easy to configure
- and many more, all found in the demo

How to Use
This script is not Plug n Play. Please read the Manual included in the demo.

FAQ

Q: My character keeps falling.. Why?
A: A common mistake, you forgot to setup tile passability

Q: How does the Action Graphics work?
A: The char sprite will not be used [not visible, only animation is visible]when jump,fall,dash is performed.

Q: How does the ISC work?
A: ISC [item shortcut] allows hotkeys be assigned to certain consumables in game

Q: How does Custom Gauge work?
A: It allows you to customize the HP bar HUD

Q: How does the Tile Destruction work?
A: It allows tiles to be destroyed. A good feature is being able to gain them and place them elsewhere on the map by pressing 'A' button

Q: My screen gets laggy.. Why?
A: You used to much bullets to appear on screen

Q: How do i setup enemy attacks?
A: There are 4 ways to set up enemy attacks with a huge variety of effects - radial, boomerang, rapidfire, etc.

love the idea and definitely want to try it. the demo doesnt look very promising though. i cant see the character when i jump nor do i see any platforms in the sky area. I hope its just me cuz i really want to use something like this.

That's because of the Action Graphics script enabled.. please read first.. do you expect everything to be laid out for you? seeing how you commented like that on tomoaky's script, you dont have much creativity. i bet you didnt even understand how the script works.

there's no turn on and off, but you can have maps that function as a platform using the events. just don't mess up your tiles and tile passability. you can test it yourself.

Hmmm....this video does not understand spanish, spanish was very mindcrushing languages that are only in spain, and i problaly completely don't like it dry.gif

Alessio, are you asking for another warn? Your post was unrelated to what new was trying to show; all she wanted was to display how well this script works and what it can do, regardless of the quality of Spanish in the video :/ Post something related to the OP topic or not at all please.

Hey guys! I found that awesome script and want to work on a game like Mega Man. All works fine, but i have a strange "gray box" around my character.

thats not a strange box, thats one of the add-on scripts. it works like keeping track of the tiles you destroy and allows you to stack them in use.
