I CANNOT Play the bad guy in a video game that gives you a choice. No matter how many times I play Fallout 3 I always take the good routes. Sometimes I'll resort to petty thievery but that's as far as I'll go, I have never even done some of the missions because I can't stomach doing bad things. I literally cannot do it. I've tried to do it and I always feel horrible about myself and start over.
I have felt good about executing people in video games before though, I always get a surge of self-rightious fury whenever I go to Paradise Falls. -------------------- |

I usally feel bad about playing the "evil" playthrough, though it does depend on the situation, for example:
if I slaghter an entire town of people and come out with a decent outcome, then I can allow it, whereas if I don't come out with anything then i feel bad and have to reload! -------------------- Awwwww c'mon, those 1,000,000,000 goblins won't kill themselves!

I typically play these types of games twice. My first playthrough, I just play as "myself" and just use my gut-feel instinct in making all my decisions. Usually ends up with me being a nice guy with a snarky streak and built around sneaking.
With my second playthrough I typically get all genre-savvy and minmax the hell out of the thing. And, also, I play a girl. A bitchy, often evil girl. -------------------- Project Seamus has now been moved to Ace. Oh dear.

I play good first... always... then I TRY to play bad, but often still make more good choices than bad. It's weird how video games can capture you in a way that your own morals apply to the character you play as.
