Well, I combed through a post I recently made, and I noticed a load of these crazy ass symbols.
€™ It seems these only popped up in something I copied from an MS Word document, but what the hell are they? Cause I'd rather not comb through it and delete all of these next time I copy a document... This post has been edited by Obrusnine: Jan 18 2012, 01:12 AM -------------------- |

Some word processors (like MSWord) replace some punctuations (apostrophes, quotation marks, ellipses, etc) to be more visually appealing. Although they look nearly identical in the word text, they're encoded differently and the forum doesn't recognize them.
Try copying the text into a notepad first, or use the "replace" tool to fix the punctuations. You may also want to look into the word processor preferences and turn off auto-replace. |
