-BattlesOfMorfoth (Not to be confused with the one by Elaynii!) ![]() A Long time ago, Vanir, a peaceful and civilized country, found that everything was going dark. They noticed that people were missing, so they sent a guild to the outer world where they were forbidden to go. They named the guild "The Guild of Kiel". For years the people of Vanir waited for their guild to return, but no clues or guesses seemed to answer. More years passed. the guild became forgotten. Soon it became a legend, and then a myth. But then after hundreds of years, they came back. Nobody believed that someone could've lived that long, but the Guild of Kiel said that it was a mystery to them to. The Guild of Kiel told them everything. The monsters (with a weird type called a "Requiem"), the trees, and the enchanted places. Everybody was happy to finally see that they were back. The Guild of Kiel told them that everything was safe, and that they had cleared up the mess. More years passed when things started happening. The five people from the guilg (Kiel, Scott, Iledith, and Sellenus) started fighting. They killed eachother, nad one by one they fell. Scott was the only one who desired peace, and was the only one who lived of the five. Everyone was scared, so Scott looked into the matter. He soon figured it out. While he was on a break when the guild was in the outer borders, his companions went out to find more "Enchantments" "Guys, I think we should just stay here." "Oh, Scott, you're always trying to make things boring." "Yeah, Scott, c'mon!" "Go by yourself, you bafoons!" And so they went by themselves. But they were bit by humans, or atleast zombies. They had marks in them that said "Requiem" as if they were deseased. Scared, the guild fled back to Scott. This is what Scott learned after researching journals, letters, etc. Scott guessed that the guild was deceased, and were drove crazy. "It ain't real guys!" Scott's cousin, Jinith said. "Trust me, Scott's a good guy, and he wouldn't lie." Said Gonothein, leader of one of the guilds. "Unless he was trying to keep stuff secret about the outer borders. I tell you, there are some weird things out there that people would want to keep a secret." Jinith argued. "But that's not what he told me. 'It's all in the journal' he says to me. I ask him more, but he says nothing else." "Exactly! He wants to keep his secrets!" said Jinith. "Then let him!" Says Geonothein. After this conversation at the nearby bar, everyone got suspicous around Scott. But Scott lived on. He married a beautiful lady and had a son, Mortiky. Unfortunatly, Scott was paddling in his boat when he fell and was drowned, for the continent of Vanir didn't know "Swimming". Mortiky grew up as a sad boy, for his father was killed. Worst, people started rumors that Scott was murdered, or was also deceased by the "Requiem" Years later, Mortiky's mother was actually murdered by someone who was sent to assassinate Scott for profit. Jinith, Scott's cousin (or second cousin removed), was sent to jail, for everyone was suspicous around him now. Mortiky ran away with his dear friend, Kiel, setting out for Arain. Oh, lol sorry. EDIT: he's added! Edit: Removed hanzo scripts (except for ultmate overlay mapping) EDIT: So many edits! Anyways, I guess you guys should know more about the features. So... In the first Continet, Arain, your first goal is to gather some materials. You need to mine and dig up artifacts to start crafting some swords. To do this I recommend the Arain Mines, or go to Aralock and go the shop to buy rocks, a pick-axe, and your ony your way! Along the game you also get to lockpick, allowing you to break into doors, chests, steal stuff from shops, etc. The lockpick system is pretty easy, too, but don't get your hopes up. Lockpicking too many doors will make you a criminal, and you will have to either pay a fine or leave the town. Be careful! There's also a skill tree for your fire skills, arrow skills, and more! So I've been working on a new photoshop document for the entrance to Aralock (a continet).

I'll keep in mind to not stop it! I've just added a class chooser, used and edited a script by Omega7 Speaking of Omega7, I should probably add him to the credit list! Also, I added a poll so you can decide which class to be! Have fun! EDIT: Officially two years in the making! To celebrate, I've made a custom script that allows you to have more paremeters! Well, the only thing that comes to mind is, were you heavily influenced by "Silentium: In Nomine Eve?" Because it looks visually a lot like it. But I am uncertain about the story. Mapping-wise: your maps are good, but I see a lot of empty space. One thing I tell myself is, "If the space is not useful, reduce the map size, so that everything has a purpose." Story-wise: I am not yet convinced of the story plot. But again, you have time to tweak it, so it is not a big deal, really. In short, it needs a bit of improvement. But, don't worry too much about that. -------------------- |

The only thing that really looks simialar to Silenitium is the trees, but yes I was inspired. But trust me, those trees aren't the only ones. Trust me. The story was actually very well thought out and I decided not to give out to much of spoilers, as the game is really early in devolpment. Although I will admit that the story is dull, so I'll be sure to tweak it! About the empty space, that is because of the events I am setting up. This includes the on-map encounters, the ghosts and spiders, the blood, etc. So I assure you, this game WILL look good in the end! Stay tuned, jaydee! EDIT: YAY! New story! As of now the setting will be changed, the trees, etc. I will be removing the screenshots. Haha, really sorry dude, but I've used photoshop for a while and have recolored atleast 10 kaduki sprites and tiles already. I don't frakensprite much, but I guess you could show me a picture in a PM. but not here because I'm still waiting for mods to close this. Thanks for the compliments, though!
