How simple is Ruby to learn? I know Java, going to learn C , and understand Unix commands.

Rather simple. Even simpler if you have coded before.

I have experience with HTML, Objective C and Basic. Ruby was a cakewalk to learn. Within a couple hours was writing efficient lines of code.

Ruby was the first language I learned. It took about a week before I could start making useful scripts in vx (and then it was a big help wen I learned Java, C etc.)
