Introduction This script let you use rpg maker 2000/2003 graphic without resizing in VX. Just for an example, tiles of 16x16 instead of 32x32. Also, you can have the same font effect using a font table bitmap (mine attached) or separated bitmaps in folders (monospace-monostyle version included in the demo).

How to Use To use, copy the script wherever you want between Materials and Main. After that you have to use a folder called "MidGraphics" for placing in-game graphics. In the usual Graphics folder you can place a doubled version of the images just for using it in the editor. When releasing the game, you can remove the Graphics folder and rename the MidGraphics. In the demo you can find the already setted up folders (and the RTP graphic inside in the RTP version), so you could prefer downloading the demo, even if it is a bit large.
Q: The demo won't open, how to open it? A: Like said, the released version will look Graphics and not MidGraphics. There's two options: 1) rename MidGraphics in Graphics and launch again (you have to remove or rename Graphics first); or 2) open the project and launch the demo in debug mode.
Q: I didn't download the demo, and when I launch the game it misses "Font.png". What is? A: In the 2k font drawing method (1), it uses an image which contains the characters. Also, it will look for FontB.png, FontI.png, FontBI.png which are bold, italic and bold italic fonts. These four images are attached and go in Graphics/System.

Author's Notes The RTP version is in italian language. But you don't have to play, there's no messages, nothing to read. Just don't start a project with this database because you'll have to translate everything xD

wait ok, what does this do? I read what it does, but leaves it kinda vague to me. So I load all my old graphix and then use them? How does it read the tilesets and such? not sure I get it, lol. I have soooo many 2k3 tiles sets that would be fun to make use of them again.

Chipsets need to be recomposed on VX Tileset template, because of the program using that kind of images. With this script, you can rather use image with the same resolution as 2k/2k3. I mean tiles 16x16 instead of 32x32 and so on. The script will double the graphics on screen once used.
The goal of this script is to use old makers graphics without having to burden the released project with manual doubled graphics. And yeah, to have bitmap fonts ^^
