Clarification on the game's Japanese/English Title

The original title of this game when it was made back in the early 90s was which loosely translates to "Eternal Echoes"..however, since this is the first time the game is in English, it's not as much of a remake anymore as it is a recreation in a sense, so the title slightly changed to fit the new direction of the storyline. The confusion that arose was that someone asked about the kana in the title, and if it's really the title of the game, and the 'Echoes of Eternity ~ Somber Sorrows' part was the subtitle..the 'Eternal Echoes' is the original title, the 'Echoes of Eternity ~ Somber Sorrows' fit a lot more with the story's direction now.

Story

Many legends begin with crystals generating the life force of a planet or being a source of power often sought out by those with the will to rule. This is also true in the world of Mesmonia.

However, a Mesmonian legend states the following:

The world was created by one being, the Goddess of Life, Eternity. Though many people believe humans just "appeared" one day and slowly evolved into what they are now,many Scholars believe otherwise. Every 10,000 years, known an "Age of Judgment", Eternity summons her 3 Guardians from their slumber to watch over the breed of people that currently inhabits the planet. It is said that if the Guardians were ever challenged and defeated, Eternity would "cleanse the planet and start anew." because the breed of people she created possessed otherworldly powers. 20 years after the last "cleansing", Eternity created humans and a rare breed known as the Succubi, which are a race entirely populated by females..

Though Eternity had righteous intentions for these Succubi, being the only breed that inherited the traits of a previous race as a reminder of her previous failures and accomplishments,many caught and used them in experiments, mating them with regular people to try to pass on the rare traits that many Scholars believe held the key to Eternal life and extraordinary powers. This lead to the birth of the "Job Classes".A person's class is based on which dominant Succubus trait they hold, some of which are:

Dark Knights - The only ones who can be Dark Knight's are direct descendants of a Succubus or a human who mated with one.

Paladins - The only beings who can be Paladins are full-blooded Succubi. Paladins are divine knights that flourished in 558 C.E. This is one of the many lost classes in Mesmonia.

Zeretic - The "Forbidden Class", Zeretics are people who are considered demi-gods as they directly inherited the traits of Eternity herself, calling themselves her offspring.

Summoner - The "Evocation Class", while naturally evil, a lot of people with the gene that allows Evocation have gone down the path of good and only used their power to further the will of the Guardian that controls the element of their summon. Summoners were usually used as tools of war, but most went into hiding along with the Succubi, earning themselves the title ‚€œSuccubus Guardians‚€Ě.

Thief - Though Thieves and Rogues lack a Succubus trait, they hold the highest agility of any profession. They're what you would consider "mere mortals" when compared to someone that is born a Dark Knight or Paladin. They excel in the way of the Dagger and Handgun.



During these experiments, most Succubi died off, taking along with them the history of the planet and a piece of Eternity. However there remains a handful of Succubi left in the world with the dominant trait or are full-blooded Succubi. Eternity fell into her 10,000 year slumber, awaiting the next cleansing cycle. The Guardians too went into their slumber, which allowed the Humans to continue to flourish on Mesmonia.


Eventually, the Humans discovered ancient texts that detailed the history of their land and the Goddess Eternity. Learning of their hidden past , a council of Scholars proposed an "Adventurer Program" to try and defeat the Guardians, or Eternity herself. Many were skeptical of the idea, but most kingdoms agreed to it, and anyone the age of 12 or higher were allowed to take part in the Adventurer training, however the requirements were steep. The only way to succeed was to be a Succubus, either fully or dominantly.



This, however didn't stop people from taking part in it, but they were given a certificate and considered mere "Adventurers", while the ones the kingdoms held interest in were taken under the care of an adventurer named Danya.


Two girls, Jenny & Jennestia start their adventurer training (where the player comes in) a mere 200 years before the next "cleansing cycle" is set to begin,according to the old legends. Though they are normal girls, Jennestia has attracted the attention of many kingdoms and a strange Zeretic by the name of Zinn due to her affinity for the Paladin class.


Character Analysis

Age: 17
Class: Dark Knight

Bio:
Jenny is the main character of Echoes of Eternity. She was born to a Succubus mother. She doesn't know her Mother completely as she was always in hiding, but she pops around every now and then and speaks to her through a good friend, Byu. She mastered the scythe at the age of 16 when she was training with her mother's friend, Byu, and eventually learned how to tap into her Dark Knight abilities, her key trait is "Soultaker', which, if it's a critical hit, can absorb the entire soul of her victim and she can use them as a marionette. She knows she's a Dark Knight, however despite the bad reception Dark Knights have in Mesmonia, she ignores it and tries to prove they're mostly unfounded.

Jennestia - Main Character
Age: Unknown, however Jenny believes her to be younger than she is.
Class: Paladin/Succubus
Weapon of Choice: Medium - Long Swords
Bio:
Jennestia is the sister of Jenny, however due to her special nature of being a Paladin class, there are many questions, could she be her real sister? How did they end up together? No one but Jennestia knows the answer, however she hides it through her "cute young innocence." She has the abilities of a Paladin and can tap into the 'spirit realm' where she can hear the voices of the Guardians and even Eternity herself which she will occasionally converse with Eternity through dreams to find out why she feels out of place and what she is..seeing as since day once of her knowing Jenny..she grew at an extrodinary rate compared to her sister..and anyone else for that matter class wise.

Raz - Main Character
Age: 20
Class: Rogue
Weapon of Choice: Marksmanship (Crossbow and Guns.)
Bio:
Raz is a mysterious character, all that is known is that he's an ex-adventurer and decided living the life of a "Thief" would be better suited for his tastes of adventure. (More is revealed about him throughout the story.)

Goddess of Life, Eternity - Villian

Class: Goddess
Weapon of Choice (Unknown)
Bio:
She's the goddess of life. Throughout the story you learn more about her and why she decided to start a "Cleansing" cycle.

Zinn - Villian

Bio:
Zinn is known as the right hand man to Eternity, he has taken an interest in Jennestia, which he would like to learn more about through the clever use of his daughter, Olya. He believes Eternity wants Olya to bring Jennestia back to them so they can 'preserve' the Succubus race.

Olya - Main Character/Villain
Age: Unknown
Class: Zeretic
Weapon of Choice: Magic, all type Swords.
Bio:
Olya is the daughter of Zinn. She is one day summoned by her father to "join" Jenny & Jennestia on their adventurer training while "unlocking" Jennestia's succubus powers which will inevitably awaken the Guardians and Eternity from their slumber earlier than usual.

Byu - Key NPC
Age: 33
Class: Unknown
Weapon of Choice: Unknown
Bio:
Byu could be considered the father of Jenny & Jennestia, simply because their mother has trusted him with their lives for years while she was in hiding. He occasionally passes on messages and even sometimes money from their mother throughout the game if you care to visit home every once and awhile. Byu trained Jenny in the way of the Scythe, while Jennestia was already profound in the Sword Arts.

Danya - Key NPC/Villian
Age: Unknown
Weapon of Choice: Unknown
Bio:
Danya could be considered a middleman, she actively seeks out strong adventuerers to recruit for the kingdom's movement against Eternity and/or her Guardians. While concealing this info, she puts most adventurers on a series of tests. She has a knack for killing off most of her trainees..but few survive, and the ones who are still holding onto life, she warps to a particular location..to see if they survive being away from those they love. She's a bit carefree, but not evil. She does however have history with Raz.. It isn't clear if she's for or against the Eternity movement..but she does make a point towards being neutral to everything.

Eva - Unknown Alignment
Age: Unknown
Weapon of Choice: Rumored to being a master of "Blue Magic"
Bio:
Eva..known as the "Doomed one" or "Daughter of Darkness" in some legends. There isn't much known about Eva, however, other than what you'll uncover if you partake in a particular..side quest.




Features


Tankentai Side View Battle System
This is the main battle system of the game. It will feature custom skills, mostly for the major characters like Jenny & Jennestia.

-Crafting System
You will rarely find Weapons and Armor,and Items in Echoes of Eternity will be less common than in other RPGs. You'll find your fair share of Potions and whatnot, but you will eventually have to craft better potions if you want better results out of them. The same with weapons and armor. You might be able to upgrade your starting weapon into the best weapon in the game throughout your adventure. You will find the occasional rare weapon or armor, but you will mostly find rare materials used to strengthen the weapons/armors you have, which will make them better than anything you can find in the field.

-Echo Shrine(s)
These shrines are the locations where you can fight the Guardians. However,if you manage challenge and defeat the Guardians, even at a low level and early in the game when you're first allowed to visit them, you will be warped to the fight against Eternity. Other than warping to the final fight, they are also monster arenas where you gain Summons for the Evoker class.

-KGC Assign Skills/Equipment Points/Additional Slots
The meat of the menu system. You have to choose your skills and equipment wisely, as a lot of boss fights will require a lot of resistance against a certain element type, or status type. For instance, the Behemoth boss fight will require a lot of resistance to Lightning magic, which you will have to sacrifice a lot of stat gains or say "Auto-Regen" to acquire.

-Day-Night System: This plays a VERY important role in the game. There are some locations/items required to progress thorugh the game you can only obtain at say midnight, or the crack of dawn. So you'll have to pay close attention to what NPCs tell you and what locations are accessible at what time of the day.

World of Mesmonia

Mesmonia is the overall world (You'd normally call it "Earth/Gaia/Terra") which has been around for as long as anyone can remember. It's split into 3 major areas:
Land of Xoy
Land of Estellia
Land of Mesia

Xoy - The Forgotten Land.

In ancient times, long before Humans existed, the Xoyians existed and were one of the more advanced civilizations, before Humans came into the scene. They developed the technology of "warp points", which are found scattered throughout the world. Most are buried in ancient caves, and most lead you the Forsaken Land of Mesia. The Land of Xoy is made up of 3 continents: Rubera, Hyzonia and Lek`Hinya. Largely unpopulated, Xoy does however have a small tribe of people on the Hyzonia continent. The only way to get into Xoy is to find a Xoyian teleportation device somewhere in either Estellia or Mesia.

Estellia - The Vast Desert

Estellia is the home of Jenny & Jennestia. This land houses many ancient Xoyian technologies, but few have been discovered. It's home of the legendary Valberd Range, which is said to have connected Estellia with Mesia in Ancient Times. Estellia is made up of 2 continents, Luzada Island and Veseria.

Mesia - The Forsaken land of magic.

Mesia is the largest and most populated area in all of Mesmonia. It's home to many towns, inventions and natural resources. However, Mesia is home of the most dangerous breeds of enemies due to the lack of the Adventurer Program taking off in this part of the world, allowing monsters to run rampant. Being that there are many strong monsters, entry to this area is forbidden, and the only way to gain entrance is via Airship or teleportation device. All sea and cavern routes are closed off, which also means trade is cut off. It's deemed the "Forsaken Land" because it is overrun with strong beasts ,as well as the fact that the majority of people dabble in the Dark Arts. Unlike most nations in the world, Mesia is ruled by 2 leaders, King Astar III and Queen Destonia IV.

Towns: Astar, Nos`Hal, Remora, Northern Destonia, Southern Destonia, Lastenoa, New Ru`Lazro
Castle: Astar Castle, Destonia Castle
Ruler: King Astar III, Queen Desonia IV
Natural Resource: Metals, Slime Products, Apples, Tea Leaves, Magic Scrolls.




Organizations of Mesmonia

There are many Organizations in Mesmonia, both Human and Monster. Below are two of the most important Organizations for each, although there are many,these are the two you'll encounter throughout your normal adventure.

The R.D.U (Royal Duelists Unit)
Founded: 829 C.E
Founder: Zheru D`Orstell (Female)
Location: Estellia, Mesia

These are a group of Female only Duelists. Their talents range from White and Red Magic to Sword Arts. Primarily used in the military of Estellia, they are also tasked with dealing with their rogue members. If you see a Duelist in the area, chances are they are looking for a rogue Duelist, and you should be careful in that area. They're easily identified by their typical "Duelist" outfits.

The Z.T.F (Zeretic Task Force)
Founded: Unknown
Founder: Believed to be Eternity herself
Location: Where they need to be.

The Zeretic Task Force is a group of Ancient Zeretics. As they are immortal as long as Eternity exists, they never age or speak a word. They're normally sent by Eternity or Zinn to keep an eye on certain people. While they naturally fear Succubi, they are never tasked to seek them out. They have ungodly powers, but are mere puppets on both the outside and inside. Though they can have a "free will",they normally follow the instructions they were built to follow. They're very easily recognized by their distinct lifeless eyes, and the heavy armor they wear.

The Dest (Monster)
Founded: Unknown
Founder: Unknown, however the monsters believe in their own deity.
Location: Everywhere.
Monster Family: Dragons(Head), Succubus(Head), Goblins, Seraphims(Scouts) Consumed Adventurers (Basically corrupted souls.)

The Dest are a very feared organization, which is made up of 4 major monster families (though Succubus's are considered human at times.), and a group of Adventurers promised a lavish lifestyle. The head of the Dest is Tamea, a Dragon. She is only ever seen or heard from when the Dest are making a movement against the humans. They aren't at war with the humans, but they do have conflicts at the towers of Mesmonia, which tend to be Tamea's Nesting grounds. The Succubus Co-leader, Roxelle, is believed to be the oldest Succubus still alive,and she's the one responsible for charming Adventurers, both male and female, to do her bidding. She commonly hangs out in major towns in the guise of a potion merchant.

False Zeretics
Founded: Unknown
Founder: Unknown
Location: Everywhere
Monster Family: Undead Adventurers

The False Zeretics are a group of adventurers who are, by definition, undead. To become a member of the False Zeretics, you have to undergo the Zeretic transformation, where a group of Succubi infuse their blood with yours, allowing you to ultimately mimic any ability a monster or player may use in battle. The average lifespan of a False Zeretic is 2 years after surgery,which is thought of as the "Trial Period". If you survive (by not succumbing to the insanity brought on by memories of the Succubi),you're a member. Despite leading a destructive lifestyle, the perks are immense,letting you wield any weapon, learn/use any magic, and even some monster abilities. After you've been killed off, which is inevitable, the group's Necromancer will raise you from your bloody grave, making you into his or her pet for the rest of your undead life.

The Sky Pirates
Founded: Unknown, but around the period of Airship manufacturing.
Founder: Ryan Ourgalles
Location: Skies over Mesmonia
Members: 20

The Sky Pirates are a group of rogues that as you can guess, pillage airships. Normally they don't stir up trouble but they have been known to attack villages "In the name of Eternity‚€Ě. They're a mysterious group of people and their leader, Ryan, is said to be of royalty.

Ra`Efni - Eternal Darkness
Many legends state that 'Ra`Efni' is our world where Eternity doesn't exist..but another deity, which is believed to be the one monsters worship. Though name unknown, many scholars gave this deity the name "Nor`valud"..which is Mesmonian for "Greater Evil." Much like our Eternity and her Guardians, "Nor`valud" has her guardians as well but not much is known other than Ra`Efni could very well by a tale to scare children into worshiping Eternity even more..but many Scholars believe otherwise...

The Brigande

The Brigande are a group of Mages who excel in the dark arts. It is said that the Brigande were born between both the Ra`Efni and Mesmonian realities. As such, many Scholars believe that Brigande members are the key to whether Ra`Efni truly exists....Though there's a group of Mages in the the present reality that consider themselves Brigande members, they are nothing more than highly skilled Dark Mages.


The "Doomed One"


There's a legend about a succubi girl tied with the fate of killing everyone that falls in love with her..much like many legends of this nature passed down throughout Mesmonian history..this succubi, known as "Eva" was rumored to being a failed attempt at "creating" a succubus. While no one knows if she's an actual person, but the legend ends with her being trapped in the Ra`Efni reality..and that much like the Brigande, she could be the link to whether Ra`Efni truly exists or not.


Detailed info on Weapon upgrading.

There are only 3 steps to upgrading your weapon...however as the weapon gains strength, the requirements to upgrade it becomes a lot more steep, this is subject to change, however this is the general layout. I will use Jenny's Scythe for this explanation, there are screenshots but they won't show up just yet, will add them in once the site allows me to:

Weapon - Scythe
Character - Jenny
Cost - Starter weapon.

Every character in the game starts with their "Starter weapon", which is the base ingredient for upgrading to stronger weapons, a lot of the shops in-game sell other weapons, but chances are you will likely only need them for upgrading the base weapon, or if you want to forgo the whole upgrade deal, you can buy lesser weapons. The weapon order for Jenny (as of 11-30-08):

Scythe > Necro Scythe > Dark Scythe > Flaire Scythe > Scythe of Sorrow (final weapon)

Every base weapon has 5 stages as seen above, there are other weapons you can buy/find, but there won't be many that compare to upgraded weapons. So for example going from Scythe to Necro Scythe requires:

Scythe + Copper Ore(x2) + Estellia Hog Skin + Death stone = Necro Scythe

Which in every town, you can likely buy most of the materials needed to go from Base stage to stage 2 for every character, the rest you will have to find in dungeons/off of NPCs (so you will want to talk to everyone you meet in towns.)

Shards of the Lazroan Mirror

Here you can start a quest that will grant you "special effect" armor. The quest is an end-game quest, which means you'll have to complete this quest before taking on the final boss. The Lazroan Mirror is said to be a mirror that connected all of the lands together before teleportation was developed, however Eternity shattered the mirror to prevent a connection between the Ra` Efni realm and "human" realm. There are 12 shards scattered throughout the world, but instead of being in chests..or just laying around...they're in essence the birthmark of the oldest succubi. In short, the quest involves the slaughter of the Succubi that holds said birthmark and to dissect the shard out of them..could Jennestia hold this birthmark as well..?

The Succubi

As we all know, the Succubi are the most powerful race of people Eternity has ever created, holding traits and abilities
of races past; As well as that they are a virtually extinct race..however what isn't known, is about their link to the Lazroan Mirror. As noted, the shards are a birthmark of the first born Succubi..every Succubi in their true form, will either have a gem on their back, or not..this "Gem" is the Lazroan mirror shard..it is much sought after, which is why Adventurers are recruited to try to retrieve this gem from known Ancient Succubi..but none succeed as they either fall into temptation or given a swift death. The most recent reports on Succubi by the Scholars of Mesia have detailed that every Succubi in their true form will inevitably erase their memory of events up until the transformation, this means if you've unknowingly befriended a Succubi and she reverts back to her true form, chances are, she can and will kill you on a whim regardless of your history with them..is it possible that Jennestia could revert to her Succubus form..?



Rasjinet - The lost arts of the blade

Spoiler:
Rasjinet is the technical term for "Sword Art"..it's a set of skills that vary by which highly skilled Swordsman or Swordswoman in Mesmonia. There are many variations of Rasjinet, however the only notable Rasjinet are used by 3 people in particular:

Zheru - Chains of Eternity
Jennestia - Jennestia's Lament
Eva - Seal of Sorrows

These are the only skills that said 3 Swordswoman perfected themselves, which means no one but them can actually use it skillfully. In detail, Rasjinet is broken up into 3 categories:

Recovery
Offensive
Defensive

In your travels, it is likely you'll run into a few..rivals that may use a certain type of Rasjinet which can completely change the tide of battle.

Here's a breakdown of 2 skills per category (there's 5 in all.)

Recovery Rasjinet -

CODE
Divine Wind - Heals all party members

Eternal Solstice - Grants 'Barrier' effect and restores HP & MP.


Offensive Rasjinet -

Chains of Eternity (Zheru Only) - 3 Phase attack, Phase 1 a normal physical attack with her sword, Phase 2 recovers a small amount of MP and Phase 3 strikes the enemy with a random element of sword attack (Thunder, Fire, Lightning, Ice or Darkness.)

Jennestia's Lament - Jennestia taps into her Succubi power through a prayer to Eternity that deals a massive amount of damage.


Defensive Rasjinet -
CODE
Seal of Sorrows - 3 Phase skill, Phase 1 grants 'Barrier, Shell and Haste", Phase 2 Eva chants a prayer that places a magic seal on the party for the duration of battle and Phase 3 places a curse on Eva, which if you kill her while the curse is active, the character with the killing blow will also die.

Defensive Stance - Fully restores MP and raises Defense by 50.


Obviously I won't go into detail about Jennestia's skill..you'll just have to play the game.


Ancient Stories of Mesmonia
(Scholars of Mesmonia) - *Note* Only 2 sections out of 3 are complete for this.

There are many groups of Scholars in the land of Mesmonia, however there are two groups that really..run the show so to speak, the Scholars of Mesia and the Scholars of Mesmonia. The Mesian Scholars have a different outlook and research method when compared to the Scholars of Mesmonia. Each nation has their own group of Scholars, but these two particular groups are the most renowned and respected. Though different, both groups are interested in one subject and one subject alone..Eternity.

Scholars of Mesia & the Tome of Rysida

The Scholars of Mesia have been known to support the "Eternity Campaign", which to everyone else; The Adventurer Program..as we know, the Adventurer program is a guise for gathering those that are willing to challenge and defeat the Guardians..though only one group of Adventurers have ever been successful in defeating the guardians many years ago, there wasn't a "Cleansing" in their defeat..which baffled the Scholars, but it lead to something far worse and the Tome of Rysida depicts what will happen if the Guardians and even Eternity herself are not stopped.

The Tome of Rysida

A lost Tome created by the Scholar Lucia Rysida C.E 720-???, which gives a full history of both Ra`Efni, Eternity, the Guardians and 'Eva'. It is said that the Guardians must be defeated in order to weaken Eternity and the only way to stand a chance of defeating a Goddess or even the Guardians is to ask the Elemenetal Spirits who inhabits the crystals for help. This led to the birth of mainstream Evocation. The first use of the Evocation wasn't by 'Summoners' or the "Succubi Guardians', but was used as a form to draw energy from the Crystals to defeat the Guardians. Repeated Evocation of these Elemental spirits in the many failed attempts at defeating the Guardians and Eternity led to the Crystals losing their power. Much like water is a natural resource, the Crystals are also a natural resource and slowly faded into a mass of Dark Crystal, which as Lucia writes in her last entry:

"Shines with an ominous glow that can give even Eternity herself the chills. If you approach these Dark Crystals, you can hear the echoes of what used to be the Elemental Spirits. When a Dark Crystal comes to life, it creates a portal to Ra`Efni, which we can safely assume is a world without Eternity. Could this be a beautiful place? A place full of happiness where we wouldn't have to worry about Eternity and her Cleansing Cycle?..No..."Ra`Efni" means Eternal Darkness..I've attempted to enter, but alas failed many times..until recently. The entry further goes into detail about Ra`Efni and how Eternity and her Guardians don't exist there..what does exist there, however...is the fate of awakening her Guardians earlier than expected.

"I, Lucia Rysida, have decided that I will bring to the attention of her majesty that this program must stop. The Guardians should never be awaken prematurely, it is certain doom if they are. This isn't to say, they're evil or out for blood, no not all, this is however to say their powers need a period of recharging every x amount of years if they are to sustain the life of the planet. A premature awakening will mean they won't have the control over their powers and could even turn on Eternity herself. I won't pass off Eternity as being innocent..what I've learned in my time in Ra`Efni is something every mortal needs to know..Eternity is the Manifestation of the planet, Mother Mesmonia if you will..what's that mean you ask? Well, it means--"

The only known entry of this Tome ends there. This tome is most sought after to see if it explains Eternity's behavior and if she truly is good or bad. Though as time went on, the Tome is forever lost in the realm of Ra`Efni and based on one entry and one alone, the Scholars have decided to continue the program, despite warnings.

This is from many many years ago and was released Japanese only, but to help further my English as well as many friends who only speak English would like to play my games, I've decided to remake this on VX and release in both Languages.

The main thing to keep in mind is that this is in now way the final quality nor is it finished, this is just so people know the project is still in production and what the flow of the game will be like.

Okay, since I've been extremely busy for the longest and as of now waiting for a team member to finish up the new maps so I can get the demo released, here's a preview of an older build of the concept demo that a few wanted to see. Now, here's a few things to keep in mind:

This is NOT a beta demo, nor is it anywhere near a beta demo, it's just for people to see the flow of how the game will be.
The story isn't fully implemented (aka lack of cutscenes) and still some translations I need to get finished, however this is from a November 2009 build of the concept demo, since then it's been reworked and everything added.

Based on the concept demo playthrough, aside what isn't shown that I already know about, what would you think should be reworked or redone before a public demo release?

So the main thing to keep in mind, is that This is pretty much done demo wise, just waiting on the final maps for the demo then it will be released.

Its interesting that one of the main protaginists has a sythe as a weapon of choice, I like that : p , I like that ALOT biggrin.gif. Hence my last avatar was a reaper . I think that a game based on weapons would make custimizing armor ETC alot more fun. (Though I know your game isnt about that just throwing the idea out there.)

I agree that the title screen is seriously nice.

FYI, the plural form of the word 'Succubus' is 'Succubi', seeing as that term will probably be repeated many times in the game itself.

Also, if Eternity was going to wipe out the entire world of life when her Guardians are defeated, why would the people want to challenge her guardians? Would that not hasten their doom?

Aside from that, this storyline seems to hold much promise, if elaborated upon well.

Thank you, I had an idea that would be the word but I wasn't so sure.

Yeah, it would hasten their doom, most definitely, but as usual people like to play with fate, so it will be elaborated on further..since I'm still working on furthering the game (as said, no more limitations of RM95) I have more room to play around with story wise.

Wow, this has well put together; the world and character's feel properly fleshed out. I really like the whole idea surrounding Eternity. Makes me wonder is She's a victim of humanity's selfish curiosity or if there is something more sinister going on. Looking forward to reading more about this project and I'll keep an eye out for the demo too.

Using this a bump as well as I've added another "legend of interest" though it isn't a full on legend, just more of a "it's been heard" type of deal.

A lot of the design for this game is already completed..now the actual design has begun now that I've gotten 2 VERY important people to help out smile.gif

So as said, a demo could very well come out soon. (Not VERY soon..but yeah, a lot earlier than expected.)
