Friends,
I'm sharing my background music resources for free use, commercial or otherwise. Songs are now hosted at soundcloud.com! Most are ready-to-use loops in MP3 format. These songs were written specifically with RPG Maker in mind. I am not currently taking requests. Please credit my work with my full name, Aaron Krogh. I'd recommend posting links of the songs that you don't have to download. Such as soundcloud or something similar. It'll probably attract more attention
But good tracks. Maybe a little room for improvement, but nonetheless good job This post has been edited by kingsofrpg: Mar 5 2012, 12:13 AM -------------------- Variable/Game_Interpreter Fix
Spoiler: Event systems/Tutorials Spoiler: Waterfall Fade "It's not impossible to event until I say it is" Need help with a complex event system? Or just a basic eventing system? Or do you just have a good idea for an eventing tutorial you haven't seen yet? PM me the details and I'd be glad to create a system |

Maybe a little room for improvement, but nonetheless good job I appreciate the advice and the compliment. Next time I'll set up a soundcloud account or something. My knowledge of "BB Code" and forum posting in general is extremely limited. Edit: I went to soundcloud.com as you suggested and added preview links under the download links. Thanks! 04/22/2012 Edit: My soundcloud.com site is expiring. Please see the first post in this message board to download all my tracks from Last.FM. It's a much easier interface, and you can preview and download multiple songs on the same page. ~Aaron This post has been edited by amkrogh89: Apr 22 2012, 01:00 PM -------------------- |

"Megaboss" is AWESOME! "Groovy BGM" is nice, too. "Coastal Town" has strange, yet loveable vibe, about it: big plus here. "Dungeon" is so... upbeat; I'm not sure where it would be used...

Thanks for the compliments, Kaimi! I understand the confusion about the dungeon theme. I have problems with its use in a dungeon as well. I originally wrote it as a theme in my game used in a high school's creepy basement. I got a little too carried away because I was experimenting with a new music style. Do you have any suggestions for renaming the track? Any help would be appreciated!

Listening to "Dungeon" makes it seem to be more appropiate for some kind of casino, or theme park, maybe? But shrouded with mystery. Anyways, I hope to see a new track once in a while!

"Spirit in the Tree" has a strange tune: 1 minute 27 seconds to like 1minute 49 seconds which is kinda inappropiate as to the track in overall. "Who left the milk out!" has a slight feeling of "Chocobo" Final Fantasy X-2: the most 'obvious' part is at 10 seconds. "Smooth Moves" seems a decent track to be used in a business district of a city, while "Club Mix" could work in an exploration of a city that is quite futuristic and is like a "'cultural' party town."

Not bad at all. Depending on what type of games people create, this music can be very useful. Thank you for sharing them.

"Megaboss" has had the most hits and the most downloads, so I thought I'd share an alternate, up-tempo version in the key of F. Megaboss Type 2 No Mediafire link this time - you can download this song directly from soundcloud.com. I will also edit my first post to reflect the changes and additions to the collection. Thanks for the positive feedback, folks. -------------------- |

"Megaboss Type B, F - 208 Type A (Loop, 160kbps)" now sounds more like a battle theme and still retains its coolness! I really appreciate your devotion to the music!

Listening to a few of your works now. I do like those megaboss themes and might be able to use them in a project I was working on. Not sure yet if I want to, though. >_>
Anyway, keep up the good work. -------------------- My scripts. Feel free to use and abuse. - Slo-mo Script / Frame Rate Script - - Animated Battler Graphics Script - - Lock Picking Script - - Simple Text Alignment and Face Control Script - |

By anything, does it mean these soundtracks can be used in my commercial game? =]
I can probably write up songs...but they'd take like a day each. T_T You have some dedication. |

Love the sound of these, I'm definitely going to be using at least a couple of them. Eerie Scene will probably be used for a crystal forest and I'm going to make a place for Who Left the Milk Out?! because of how much I like it.

Certainly, you can use them in commercial games. Just include a credit to "amkrogh89."
