Hi I saw that the avatar allows us to have a .gif... when I put the file as my personal photo it plays, however when I set it to my avatar it remains a picture, is that how it should be? Or should it be playing (I've never seen a .gif avatar on here so idk)

Also if there's already a topic on this, sorry I looked for one, but found none.

It should work, it could be that the file is too big to be an avatar.

Well that answers that... hmm thank you, I'll try and resize it

Err, I meant big as in the filesize, not the actual image dimensions.

Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 400 KB.

If your GIF is bigger than 400KB, it will probably just display as a picture instead.

It's only 27.7 KB (That's why I assumed you meant dimensions)

Oh, well, then nevermind: you can't have it be bigger than 140x140 pixels, so yes, try resizing.

Hi, Your GIF image larger than 400kb it creates problem, so re sized it. Then Try again. If you are not satisfied then try "gifmakeronline" software.
