I apologize if this is in the wrong area. Copied directly from script:
How to Use: Type the following commands in the names of areas: # <battleback "filename"> to set a battle background; (no quotes!) # <damage_area x> to damage 'x' HP points to all party members; # Is it possible to put the two commands in the same area using # ';' to separate them. Everything else configure below. I assumed this meant create an area over the map where I want the battleback to be. So I named the area <battleback "desert"> (desert is the battleback) but when I went into battle it displayed the default battleback. I then named the area <battleback desert> without quotes but that didn't work either. The battles are random encounters. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance. -------------------- |

If the file you want to use is called (for example) desert.png, I think you might need to use <battleback desert.png> as the name for the area. It would be easier to tell if we could see the script itself.
