I'm sorry if this has already been said/ in the wrong section, but I need a script that would make the background just the map, without
that ridiculous abstract thing, like the map with no effect over it.

oh, okay! You want a script that uses the map as the background for battles!

Well, look in the Master Script list for that - I know we have that sort of thing. =]
