What is with all the FFVIII love? Rinoa? Squall? who are they again? haha. Aside from FFVIII being the most forgettable of the entire FF series, the sprites are done pretty well. I'd like to see a bit more shading on squall for sure. Particularly his black jacket (looks like a black mass as of now). Rinoa is great through.

Nanaki is coming along nicely as well; but as we have found out, you are head to head with pine on this one ~_^ I am eager to see the final product.

FF7 all the way . I liked Final Fantasy VIII and all but the fact that everyone knew each other from the same orphanage was pretty ridiculous. Only down side to FF8 imo. Also very good job on the sprites/tile sets.

Everything here is awesome Emuas youre doing a way better job on the tiles and the sprites and of course the faces than i could ever dream to accomplish

by the way are the main characters in EVERY final fantasy game orphans? Ive played final fantasy III on the ds and final fantasy umm dont remember the number but it had an x + it was a strategy game on ds

Thanks, I'll keep working on it Also, I have to excuse Pine - when I wrote first time, I had (I've got? Arrrgh, language problems ) previous avatar with Seph form FFVII, I changed it later. So Pine could be wrong and this is not silly Actually, this face is my main female character, I edited it by myself. I know she probably need to be fixed (especially her earring, now it looks kinda weird), but I already became attached to her

Some of these sprites are abosolutely amazing, you have a talent for this, I can tell.

I love you FF charas. I must admit, I'm a FF fanboy and I did think that 8 was horrible, then I beat it, and I play it over and over again it has became one of the top 5 for me. now I will say 12 will never be in my top anything, lol. Keep it up your doing awesome! Can't wait to see me.

It's been a while

I'm glad that this topic is still open ^^ I'm working now on a silly game about Final Fantasy, but I have many another ideas (I really would like to make a game about bra-fitting ), so I came back to spriting

Hello again This is my very first face made completely from scratch:

I've made this face in bigger version and transformed it in Photoshop to fix it into smaller format, but it looks now a little blurry. Is there any way to make it without losing sharpness?
I know that it isn't perfect, but I'm just learning how to use my new tablet And I think it fix in RMVX quite well, so if anybody would to use it, feel free

if you don't want to lose sharpness upon resizing in photoshop, you have to use the "Image Size" option and choose "Nearest Neighbour" instead of the default "Bicubic"

This can also actually mean you have to clean up the image if it's not an even division.
