This game actually looks really nice! I'm downloading it right now. However, a mod might get onto you for missing a thing or two here and there. Not to mention that if this is a full game, it's in the wrong place...
I'll definitely post again with my opinion, but I like what I see. |

I am gonna play this. It sounds kinda interesting from what I could understand from your poor grammar. I know there are a lot of foreign people on this forum, but everyone, please do try to get the correct grammar. It is really hard to read for us natives.

I thought this forum is the first place to post full game isn't it ? I am gonna play this. It sounds kinda interesting from what I could understand from your poor grammar. Grammar is a difficult part for me. Anyway I'm working on it. Please comment or suggest about dialog in the game too if you could. Thank you. -------------------- |

So far, I've run into minimal error. I chose to play as Kelvin. I've a couple of things to note:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Otherwise, your game has a lot of presentation and ambience. The only thing I've got to complain about is the bad grammar, which I can look past, since it doesn't seem like you're an English speaker. Good stuff, so far. |

Thank you very much for your report and comment. about the error just consider it's a trap for now because It's not critical error maybe I'll check and fix it in the next ver. Hey!
I really liked this game! I'm playing it in daylight and it still scared me. The atmosphere is amazing and the whole thing is really well done. The mapping is really convincing and well done as well. My only suggestion is to make more and faster monsters. If as soon as I go into a room I know I could be ambushed, it will make exploring that much more tense. -------------------- Working on: Lodestone2d

Maybe monster will upgrade in next Version. Let me think about it for now. This post has been edited by Hexagon: Feb 19 2009, 03:26 AM -------------------- |

I really like it so far! But I ended up using the Axe more than the handgun because it's faster, doesn't use ammo and is more effective. Maybe make the handgun able to hit from 3-4 tiles away or something to make it more useful for when you're low on health and can't approach the enemy.(?) I don't know how you could do that though... >_<'
Anyway, I found quite a few passable tiles such as desks, baskets(?) etc and the grammar is bad although it didn't really bother me that much. Oh, by the way... [WARNING! SPOILERS!] » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I'm glad you like it . -Well, as you say when you use Axe it's hard to avoid the enemy atk. you're easily hit by one or two while you're close to them. gun is the good option for you if you don't want to be hit. -Roger that ! newest version is here now which all bad grammar is fixed and edited by echorev. Nope ,i'm not forgot it. I'm check it already. the hint is... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

![]() Hello, my sweet lil' honey bee. ![]() Type: Designer Alignment: Chaotic Good |
Alright I'm in the school right now for Kelvin and here's my score so far.
PROS +Nice pacing on items +Pacing on enemies is perfect as well +The outdoors are perfect +Dual stories is very nice in design CONS -Indoor environments really start to look the same and cliched -The plot for Kelvin so far is rather dull and predictable -I wasn't feeling the horror in it really. VERDICT SO FAR: 68%-The game has wonderful pacing and dual stories (which is my goal to play both) is top notch. However the dull story for Kelvin at the moment and the lack of horror is rather upsetting. Especially when One Night absolutely perfected the horror genre for RPG Maker VX. -------------------- |

However the dull story for Kelvin at the moment and the lack of horror is rather upsetting. Especially when One Night absolutely perfected the horror genre for RPG Maker VX. From my assumption look like you just playing the Kelvin part and not finish it yet which mean you miss the major part of Kelvin story in the final scene. this is like you just complete the whole story by 30% from 100% and If Eclipse is like a picture that have 10 piece of jigsaw you just got 3 of it . and with 3 piece it's hard to tell what the whole picture look like. About your verdict. I just curious what the 68 % from ? [Ex. 10 from graphic and 8 for gamplay or something ?] maybe you should explain the criterion of your verdict for the people who read your reply. and in my opinion i disagree for compare between two game. because each game have it own identity and unique It's like Resident evil and Silent hill . yes, it's both of survival horror type but it's totally different in gameplay ,environment and story. Anyway,Thank you for playing and your comment I will use it to develop my future work. This post has been edited by Hexagon: Feb 25 2009, 05:01 AM -------------------- |
