I started out using RPG Maker XP back in 2004, but leaned more towards VX and stuck with it for the most part, only dabbling in XP every now and then. From '04 to around '07 I've mostly been a leecher, coming on this site to find more resources or games and generally fool around with VX, nothing ever serious. The years after that, I started to contribute a bit to the community with my tileset edits (round-edge tiles and a couple of other misc. things), and of course real life got me busy again and I'm just now starting to come back to the community.
As far back as I picked this game up, I have been working on several unfinished (never to be released) projects. I got fairly far in making them, perhaps a good 3+ hours of play time for some of them, but I always ended up abandoning the project because it felt something was wrong or missing.
So, I'm now working on a currently unnamed project that is fairly well into development. It's unorganized, mostly a big stack of notes and concept art, but the plan is there. The only thing I need to work on right now is creating some custom sprites/tilesets for it, find the appropriate scripts, learn how to use Parallax Mapping (going to be a major part of the game), and actually design the world. I can't really say anything else about it right now, since that would ruin the surprise. I can promise, however, that I will do the best that I can on this project and not take any short cuts or follow any cliche routes.
