This is a list of all the tutorials in our forums, organized by category. If you make a tutorial and wish me to include it, just send me a PM.

Also for my benefit in organizing these, if people could use one topic per tutorial instead of doing one topic for all your tutorials it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the list Touchfuzzy, really helps searching this place a lot easier, especially since we now have had an influx of them it seems recently. I was actually going to make a directory for the tuts tomorrow, but I guess you beat me too it. In any case, thanks again, and congrats for becomming a mod. Good luck with that.

Just wanted to say thank you for organizing these into skill level, lol. I am fairly new at using the program and this has really helped me move things along much more quickly than just bashing ahead myself.

Hey Touchfuzzy,
you know at the top of the forum where it says "graphics scripts tutorials" etc. ??
There are only two tutorials listed there.
Is that because it isn't meant for a simple list, but for a description of each tutorial?

The board is ssssssooooooooo slooooooooow; I had thought it might work like a short-cut to the tutorial section, but of course it didn't.
At any rate, if nothing is in the works for this part of the board, no big deal.
But if you think it would be a helpful expansion,
I am going to try to go through many of the tutorials (to try and fill in gaps in my understanding, actually).
Maybe I could contribute around here by writing a blurb on each one I do -
maybe include what you need to know before you do the tut,
what you will learn,
and general info (style and method.)

It won't be done soon, but if it would help, let me know.
Plus I could direct other newbies to the top of the page instead of to links, etc.

For someone who types with the turtles, I sure do say a lot, don't I?

The sections at the top are for people to submit articles. Unfortunately, not many people have submitted them yet (they also have to be approved after being submitted). Anyway, this list is probably the best place to look at the moment, as it links to the tutorials written before the Tutorials ARTICLE section was created.

On the other hand, if you wish to write small blurbs about each tutorial I wouldn't mind including it in my list.

BTW TouchFuzzy, the spoiler in your sig does not work. I have the same problem when I use nested spoilers in this site, so that may be your problem.

i feel special being on the list hey when I finnish my Day & Night town can you add that? its a Day and Night system based off the rpg maker XP DNS take 2 system made by punk whic hrecreaetd to vx, im working on a later version and making it into a town thats basicaly absed all around the system, Inns, Taverns, Stores, Banks, weather. holidays, etc. lol

However, since this is the master list, I think the answer would lie here.

Does anyone know of a tutorial that teaches how to change the background during battle?

It would be very helpful if you'd reply or at least tell me how >w< Thank you.

Is there a way of transitioning base terrains more smoothly? There's always the awkward brown border between grass and desert or desert and snow, etc etc.. grass and snow for that matter.

Did a much needed update to the list. I am sure there are some I still missed. If your tutorial has not been added, make sire it is properly tagged, then send a PM to myself or Touchfuzzy so we can add it to the list. It can get confusing trying to keep up with what comes in.

EDIT: Fixed... sorry I was at my parents house installing a phone jack and was in a hurry and didn't check the link after I put it in... I just had the wrong topic number for some reason.

I sent the link in a PM just incase. No worries Fuzzy some times things happen, You just try again till its done right.

I updated the Master List yet again without PM's. The things I do. But seriously, this is the last update I will do unless I get a PM for a script to be added.

...Haha, I said the same thing about two months after I made this list. Seriously... Why do people complain that their tut is not in there when they didn't do what the rules say to do? :/

Well you guys caught mine before I even had a chance to send the PM, so thanks. This list is one of the most useful things on the whole site.

I have no idea. Sometimes, I get some free time and add newer ones, but I am too busy most of the time. When they ask why the script isn't in the list, I will simply point them to the rules sticky.
