This is very cool! I am going through them now and listening to them. Thank you very much for giving these out to the community.
ShinGamix
I wish more musicians would put there stuff on a site like SoundCloud like you did so I wouldn't have to download them just to listen to them. It burns my download daily allowance up fast (I have satellite internet)
Thank you for doing that. I am listening right now.

So far have listened to Airship and Theme 1 and...

I like them a lot! You got mad skills. and your good at it too.
Your music is unique enough to tell the difference but also blends right in with the RTP music.
RPG Maker Gyro haha!

I hope you do more.

Do you have them in all in a rar file to download? Trying to save my download limits?
and do we need to credit you as Gyro, GyroWolf, or D-Pad?
D-Pad
Thank you both for the comments, I'm glad you like them. smile.gif

Please credit me as Gyrowolf, and, yes I plan on adding more eventually and in many different styles.

Sorry, I didn't catch your edit in time. tongue.gif I'll try to upload them into a single archive. (Edit - Done, see OP)
TheExodude
Yay! You're back! I've always been a fan of your music, going to download all of these. laugh.gif
Phoenix-Crest
Your music is real nice, its an amazing blend of Golden Sun and the VX RTP! biggrin.gif
ShinGamix
Sorry I haven't been back in a few days GyroWolf I have been sick and it was pretty rough. Thanks for putting them all in one file for me.
I love them all they are so great. I would say they are better than the RTP ones... much better.
You got my vote for best musician the next time tthe vote is up.
Revival
I can safely back up ShinGamix's claim that these are better than the RTP, these are actually great, I love them, sadly though they wouldn't ever fit in with my games current music sad.gif Still great work! I was impressed and I'd recommend these to anybody who already uses basic RTP music in the game, these add alot more flavour, but stay along the same style. Two thumbs up dude!
D-Pad
Hehehhehe wow, thanks guys! I'm flattered. X")

The next pack I've uploaded contains a mere four songs, sorry! These songs contain a bit of a futuristic vibe. There were three more, but two of them need a bit more work and one wouldn't export correctly (kept skipping for some reason). Nevertheless, enjoy, and hopefully.

Music Pack 002.zip or listen to them in the OP.
Battle008
Battle009
Dungeon005
Theme003

Hopefully I'll have more finished for this pack next week, but it's looking like another busy week. :\

What kind of program do you use to make game music? You have really nice instrument layering in your songs.

Hi illeander, thanks for the compliment. I use DirectMusic Producer to compose the song, and then I import the wav file into Audacity for touching up. Finally I export to an OGG file and add the looping tags in WinVorbis before testing in RPG Maker VX.

Edit - I've also a new track for download: Scene005. Enjoy!
Kaimi
Battle005 is so Final Fantasy! I love it! Battle007 and Battle 008 sounds like a boss battle, and Battle009 seems to be simed for the final boss theme. Dungeon002 is very good, too! Dungeon003 sounds very tribal and Dungeon004 sounds like preparation for a grand battle. Scene001 sounds like an "escape" theme, Scene004 sounds like from Fox's Anastasia.
amkrogh89
I love these! You have amazing talent! It all sounds so professional. As I listen, I feel like I'm playing a new installment in my fave RPG series... "Scene05" is godly.
amerk
Really enjoyable and well thought out. If you're looking for any ideas, a couple more emotional pieces (ie., sad, hope, love themes) and maybe a forest piece would work well. Scene004 has been my favorite so far, as it reminds me of a ruined town, perhaps the main hero's homeland.
D-Pad
Thanks guys! I do plan on expanding the Theme and Scene sections quite a bit. In fact my next update is going to include a little of everything.

Also: Yes! Although I don't take requests, I'm definitely open to suggestions and ideas on future themes and whatnot. So please, if you have an idea for a mood or theme you'd like to share then by all means! Post away.

Enjoy!

Edit - Not going to triple post, so I'll leave this here.
